Hope someone answer my question.

I like my Twins but I've seen the amount of Richochet's and Hammers in the games, so I recently upgraded my Richochet to M3.

Twins has an upgrade that protects against self damage.

Is there an upgrade for self damage on Richochet? How to deal with Richochet self damage?

There is no alt that protects Ricco against self-damage.

But then - Ricco rarely ever damages itself - unless you equip the splash-damage alt.

Twins has the splash-alt because Twins does splash-damage by default.

You are better off the the MFS alteration that  A) increases the range and B) speeds up the shots.

I have this alt equipped 100% of the time.

Is mammoth with Ricochet a good combo?

If you want to sit on the flag, sure. But I think hornet would be a better hull for ricochet due to the speed. And utilize its ricochet effect, since that's why it has it.

If you had to choose between Isida M4, Thunder M4, Railgun M4, or Rico M4 which would you choose? Is Ricochet that good?

Is it one of the above at M4 and... nothing else?

I'd rather suggest go M3 Ricco & M3 isida and upgrade both simultaneously. That's what I did and it gives lots of flexibility.

Ricco is very fun to play.  Isida is great in team-play.  Can't comment on Rail as I don't play it.

If you want the max XP I'd choose the Isida M4. I always finish in the Top 3-5 regardless of board or game and rank. If you are a low rank, then spend time healing. If you are a higher rank...you will dominate.

I personally started with 3 m3's and modded them together. One short (Isida), one medium (Rico) and one longer (Thunder). I love playing with the Rico the most. Note, I use the Minus-Field Stabilization alteration all the time. I typically play on medium to large maps. Hate small maps.

The thunder is a highly versatile gun however. It kills nicely at M4. There used to be a ton of protections vs. Thunder, but over the last month or so I have found fewer people with the higher protections. I use it's splash damage all the time to reach enemies. You will love Thunder and the Rico on boards like Industrial Zone. I really didn't give you an answer, but those are my turrets.

Thanks guys, this helped me more than "what to buy and which is better" topic xD :P

Yeah, I guess Isida is a poor man's premium xD

Isida is highly overpowered in terms of XP-gaining. It absolutely is the easiest turret to use for reaching the top charts in the score table; regardless if the battle is a blowout or not. There's no limiting factor in healing for the individual whatsoever.

Yes there is - one-shot kills.  You can't heal the dead. ;)

I've found the worst times for isida are when...

1) your team-mates are mostly light hulls that die quickly

2) team-mates run around a lot and don't pause for healing (it happens) - I'm not chasing them out in open to just get killed

overall theme is - isida is somewhat dependent on the team - and how difficult tthey make it for you to heal.

It really isn't hard to heal the team. It gets even easier when your team is losing. Most of the players are all using medium hulls. I usually stay on the flanks of the map to atleast have my back covered.

Sometimes the Isida can sit back and heal a couple of mid-defenders the entire match; racking up constant XP. I do it a lot. These guys are defending the hotspots, there's lots of action.

Yeah, you have a point there..

Totally agree with Wolverine. Isida's overall potential is pretty much dependent on the team, if they don't really know how to work in tandem with Isidas you might as well change to another turret. at least enemies won't be targeting you continuously.

Well i would like if it had infinite ammo like twins , which you used

Then Rico would be OP, it already has the ricochet feature. It would only be a matter of bouncing balls, and when the MFS alt is equipped, it would only be a matter of time before those bouncing balls would get you.

I think Ricochet is fine as it is now.

Yes ik that , i just dreamt it up

And The MFS is not a must , just get it if you have problems with leading the shots and need more range

Bought MFS the day I bought Ricco M3.  Will not play Ricco without it.

Speaking of bouncing balls I still laugh (bitterly) when I recall the day TO nerfed Rico's bounce effect by "limiting" it to "only" 20 bounces. That's pretty much a meaningless limit. I would not say Rico is fine as is. I think it should be dialed back a wee little bit but not too much. Perhaps a genuine limit of ~5 bounces would be a place to start. Or have it lose 5% damage per bounce, maybe that's even better.

Rico and Twins are very similar. But Twins deserves ore of a dial back than Rico. That weapon has a preposterous impact seeing how fast it fires,
