It's rare to find a Rico who even is aware the projectiles can bounce . . . I like to think of Ricochet as an aimbot for bad players.

You have not seen me

Bought MFS the day I bought Ricco M3.  Will not play Ricco without it.

I have not bought till this day ,

and it is my primary m2 , except for m1 smoky {10/10}

My rico is at 8/10 , and i do good without the alt also , the reload is so fast

So the players with the alt have no chance aginst me at mid range

Doesn't hurt that you're at M2 8/10 at Captain.  You're likely still fighting many m1 upgrades and ~ stock m2s.

Since the projectiles without MFS are basically slow enough to dodge, you'd be dead at long-range before you could get close enough to do any damage.

And twins with long-range alt would eat Ricco without MFS.

Yes i know , but even high ranks are good

I lead my shots and stick with walls and reflect my shots

Agree 95 % , If he is in my range he is dead meat

I have M3 Rico and facing someone who has 45% against ricochet is a nightmare, literally waste of time firing shots at them, once your shots are reloading, you're basically dead.

The same goes for anyone facing 45% protection against their turret . . .

Not magnum, not twins, not firebird, not isida. Four of these turrets manage to destroy any opponent with 45% or above pretty easily .  . . . . . . . . .

There;s nothing magic about those four turrets, My most-used modules is Fire/Twins/Rico because it works not because I lose with it equipped.

There clearly is. If you have DA activated and I've got M4 isida, I will still kill you in less than 5 seconds whilst with Rico your bullets literally run out and there is 90% you will get destroyed by the opponent.

Something strange I've noticed when fighting Ricochet is that, while its dps is about 100 hp less than Twins, and it has to reload, I still almost always lose to it (while using Twins).

Do you have another account with m1 twins or higher and the stable plasma alteration?

At what M-level is Twins doing 100 more DPS over Ricco?

In any event, there are many factors that could be in the enemies favor...

- M-level

- Hulls - are you using the same hulls?

- MUs if same M-level

- protection module %

- Range

Crap, this post was meant to be from this account. My brother must have signed his in and I didn't notice.

I'm the one that uses Twins, weoolin uses Ricochet. At m2, Ricochet does 225-305 damage per shot, and reloads for the next shot in 0.6 seconds (I won't be factoring in its lack of infinite ammo vs Twins). This comes to 375-508.3333 damage per second. Twins at m2, does 149-179 damage per shot, and reloads in 0.306 seconds (infinitely as well). This gives it a DPS of 486.73-584.73. At m4 this difference is smaller, but still in favor of Twins. So why do Ricochet users always beat me? Usually m level and modules are pretty close.

No, but usually this happens at a range where it wouldn't matter. I think the cause is the superior knock back and projectile speed that Ricochet has, causing me to miss more than I cause him to miss. With twins, you really need every shot to hit. Ricochet has a slightly slower reload allowing more time to compensate for knock back.

If that is the case Rico both have 50 50 chance

it depends on who you face

So "happens at range..." might also be a factor - Ricco range much better than twins, especially if they have alt equipped.

And upgrades... a Ricco M2 upgraded more than Twins m2 can have better DPS... you hardly ever face stock equipment.

Do the Rico's usually get up right into your face?

The best feeling is when you use standerd Rico and Kill enemies

Which are far , and you see your shots go curved

If you can get the curves right , MFS is not needed , enjoy the faster reload
