Small maps?   None in MM unless you consider Red Alert or Barda small.  (I don't).

If you are happy with way it performs without alteration - keep going.  The turret is fun either way.

Polygon  & silence also i consider as small maps

Red aletr is best for bounce kills

Yes i like rico , i am having great fun going to lgened battles with my friends using group

ana i do well, only casue i have rico at 10/10

I have my Rico at M3.5 at the moment - will be taking it all the way on next MU sale.

Checked your profile wolverine848 - LOL - my garage is quite close to your garage.  I've just got to get the M3 Titan and M3 Hornet (pass on that one)

I think I've seen you on the same map occasionally - your profile name seems familiar.  (Better check my friends list!).

It's not just the range increase - it's the speed of the shots. Harder to dodge and they deal damage much quicker.  Plus the impacts are closer together and throw off aim better.  If you can't kill your target with a full clip it won't matter how fast you recharge.

This comment above.  This already great turret is enhanced with MFS.  I've rarely turned it off.

I have a friend who has 20/20 rico m3 =m4

he says he just like the faster reload

i agree that MFS gives rico a boost

The MFS is probably best at long ranges, because at short ranges, a smoky of the same modification would outgun you. I rented the alteration for my m2 Rico on my alt account, and I did better without the alt than I did with it.

Yes, I know that +20% extra reload time will cost you in short range

I played a MM battle in Kungur yesterday most guys were Rico and had the MFS while i did not equip it

And They were amazed that i killed them faster

Yep, it’s all about how you play. MFS will hurt you when you get too close.

I’ve changed my mind. MFS is essential. Even at short range stock Rico can’t do damage fast enough without it.

Funny you say that. I used Rico long before MFS was introduced to the game. I used to be good at exactly that - shooting ahead of a moving target, but MFS has spoiled me.

Try to hit an m3 hornet on speed-boost without MFS... good luck ;)

I think pretty much anyone can hit an m3 hornet without the alteration. Heck, as I said before, I played with it on my alt account in a forest map, and boy at short ranges, even a railgun gave me a hard time to deal with. When I switched back to the standard version of ricochet, I had no problem dealing with that railgunner.

Richochet is well khown for its bouncing projectiles that work quite well in small to medium maps.

The border between mid and short-range, this turret proves effective in both small and medium maps alike. Ricochet, hence the name, uses projectiles encapsulated in a negative energy field, unlocking the unusual ability to rebound from surfaces. The second of the two plasma based weapons, Twins being the first, this one has a notably slower fire rate and cannot be used indefinitely, requiring time to charge after expending a certain number of shells. However, in comparison to its sibling, Ricochet has faster moving projectiles, greater range and the ability to attack foes indirectly from behind cover, so long as players are capable of accurate targeting. Ricochet is extremely effective in maps with many buildings and other perpendicular surfaces, maximizing rebound potential.

Not just those maps ,

Any map and place where you have a wall with an inclination you can use the ricochet effect

90* angle is most prefered

Look at the ranks , those were m4's and m3 5/10 +s

And the only thing made me good was my pal Rico

So, there is this stereotype that Ricochet players are the ones most likely to not know how to turn their turret. You may object to this, but if you agree, just for fun, can someone explain why this weapon draws non-turners?
