"skilled" the most skill i've seen was them abusing the fact that damage can be dealt above or below the isida... Getting them before they come can't be that hard can it

Maybe you haven't seen that adaptable range or when they're rushing you with Wasp or Hornet

I don't have M2 Ricochet (yet, I'll get it tomorrow), but in gameplay, there's a big difference between M1 and M2 Rico. A M1 Ricochet can destroy my M2 Hornet in about 7-8 hits, probably. A M2 Ricochet can destroy my M2 Hornet in about 6 hits. That's pretty dang powerful, especially on DP.

 

M2 Ricochet deals enough damage to take out a M2 Viking within one clip, so it certainly doesn't lack in firepower. I'm not sure how it works at the M3 ranks, but it ought to do fine if you stick MUs on the damage and reload.

At your rank, it probably won't do particularly well without MUs. You might want to consider getting something else then.

I haven't touch Rico in terms of MU's but it's great. Can plow through a few Wasps and Hornets. The difference between M1 and M2 is great. M1 shouldn't be compared with it :D

A base Rico should be able to take out a M3 Viking in 10-12 shots. With some MU's (Like 2 or 3} should make it act like a M2 Viking. Anything with lower HP is easy, but just faster. With a little practise their extra speed might be overcomed

rico is very usefull when going against isida as isidas self healing cannt save it from getting destryed

There is the tactic where you can throw your opponents aim off..

huge hulls make it much more difficult to do so...

but its hard to do that against twins due to its raped rapid fire rate
