I'm Somewhat suspicious of his claims with the M2-M3 combo. I see those all the time and have no problem wiping the floor with them.... even with M1 Viking... Hornet is just not tough enough.

Rico with Wasp or Titan? With Titan it 's ok, with Wasp you certainly got the problem of dealing with high recoil.

 

Do you like playing with the Smoky? If so than Thunder M1 at your next rank will be a better choice IMO:

Titan/Thunder is a rather slow, but deadly combo and not to demanding.

Combine Thunder with Wasp and you can have a lot of fun: but better bring some skills. :)

It's definitely a problem... I don't think I have ever seen that combo in the wild. I am also sure that with practice you could and will learn to handle it.

 

You are probably better off putting Rico on Titan but you will need to MU turret rotation.

 

Then again you are probably better off using Rico with a faster more stable hull like Hornet, Hunter, or Viking. Rico is a beast when handled properly.

I think Ricochet is an amazing turret. I only have m0 but I saw someone using it and I thought to myself "huh, I can get that in this upcoming sale!" So I got on my noob account which has m1 Ricochet and now I practice with it until I get m2 in this next sale. Still learning some tactics and even came up with some of my own strategies to effectively use Ricochet in a battle. It does take a lot of skill and time to master Rico, especially with a light hull.

Ok….Well I've been reading up on what people have to say and this turret is very argued upon, "no it's amazing…no it's horrible!! Nerf it!….The besssst gun EVER!!" and some are true some are not, IT ALL DEPENDS ON HOW YOU USE IT! Ricochet is not for the easily irritated people. And about how it's hard to hit people-all you need to do is lead the shot-if you miss, then you take note of that and see if you need to aim a bit further or a bit more back and then next thing you know, it's all in your mind and you can hit any enemy, nitro or not. Ricochet is not a noob gun, not a really good gun, but a gun that is great if you put time and skill into it. From my perspective, I think I'm good and I've only been practicing for a little bit not because it was meant to be, but because I experimented and I use it and put time into it and realize how you're supposed to use it. I get that everyone has their own style. I'm all over the place, from mid-field to offense, or offense to defense, I don't change my tactics much when it comes to position because it's great for all kinds of play! 

 

A tactic that I've developed:

Whenever I'm on low health and near a wall and an enemy sneaks up on me, I face the wall and try to get at least one shot off of my enemy. Even if there is no wall, turn as fast as you can and just shoot him/her as long as you get one shot on them to weaken them just the slightest, it helps. 

 

It's not as hard as it sounds or looks, as long as you've got some grit and patience!

The question was which is more appropriate for Rico. I stand by my answer... Titan. Rico is great but it does take TIME to finish off an opponent. Time that your poor Wasp just won't always have.
