can someone please give advice on what is the best hull to use will Rico? I'm very low- levelled, i have a level 0 rico, which, for my rank isn't bad, but i need to know which hulls are best with it. Currently using Hornet

Yes. At m1 rico, m1 viking is used at my ranks.

That combo pwns if you can get it at WO1. Ricochet M1 is powerful through the beginning of WO

rico is way unstable and it is waaaaay too easy to steal kills from it. it takes forever to reload...that's why most rico users have about a 0.63 D/L when the exit a battle.

even after the new physics, rico still will reload slow, it will just shoot faster 

the amount of damage is the same

unless you go for the MU, then the reload will get faster, and the damage as well

but remember, all other guns and hulls will have MUs as well

Really, I feel that in order to buff it up, the amount of plasma bullets should be increased. It doesn't need to shoot faster, imo.

Yeah your right. But shooting faster is a big dal too. If your confronting a light-medium tank, you can kill it faster and therefore not have much damage inflicted to you. :)

Exactly, so when using rico, I try to kill-steal with the limited number of plasma charge :)

Rico is actually a good turret to steal kills with, since it has pretty high damage with each shot

And the shots travel fast.

 

And a trick for you Rico's. Say your teammate has backed up an enemy to a wall, and basically shooting the life out of him. You can't fire straight at the enemy, right? For it will simply be blocked by your teammate However, with Ricochet's recoil, try to bounce the shots off a nearby object, around your teammate, to hit the enemy and kill-steal.

 

(Above) That happened to me once. I had Mammoth/Freeze, pushed a Hornet to a wall. Thought 100% kill, right? Haha. . . . ha. . .Wrong.

Apparently my teammate who was a Viking/Ricochet M3 was directly behind me. I thought he had no way to steal my kill. He simply turned his turret a bit, shot at the part of the wall next to me, and the shots bounced off and took the kill. . .. man that was annoying. :o  Do you know how hard it is to single out an M2 Hornet while a bunch of Mammoth's are drugging. . . :blink:

And btw, Semyon said that the projectiles will travel a lot faster, not that it will shoot faster.

rico nerfed or not it will never have same original power it had time ago.
