Congratulations!

Just be on the lookout for drug wars. There is nothing more disappointing than emptying Ricochet only to have the enemy pop a repair kit while you sit and wait to reload.

Please don't just say "ricochet sucks" or things like that, it's useless and practically flooding. (you're probably thinking that about this comment, but anyway.) Has anyone got any suggestions as to how to best fight ricochet?

just circle strafe them with a close range turret and you are golden.

Sadly this is true. After the slow reload, Ricochet's greatest weakness is the turret's agonizingly slow rotation.

Please tell me how to use it. I find it difficult to use but I have performed my best with it. Please tell me what to do. :huh: :(

Google search Tanki Ricochet Guide. Or read this thread from the start.

Couple of key points from me: I use Rico as my main weapon and love it.

1-Use the bounce. Even when you don't think it will work. The game auto aim's when you bounce a shot off a wall, and does so with much greater precision than you get with direct fire.

2-when you beat someone take a breath and don't just rush to the next enemy. Rico needs time to reload. So stay where you are or hide somewhere until that yellow bar is almost full again. Travel time to your next enemy will fill it the rest of the way.

3-Don't hold down the space bar. Fire four or five shots then wait a second, fire the next, wait, then another. The point is fire only as many shots as it takes to destroy your enemy. Any more is wasted reload time. This takes a lot of practice but will earn you more kills in the long run.

4-Really 3.5... when you drug, fire less shots. Save all that destructive firepower for the next enemy.

5-Only drug when you are going against two or more tanks. Otherwise you are just wasting the drug.

6-Use Double Damage before or instead of Double Armor. That shield won't do you any good if you run out of ammo.

7-use Rico's impact force to knock off the aim of other tanks - aim for tank corners.

8-Get higher modifications (M1-M3) in product kits so you have an advantage other other players.

9-MU this turret several steps at each Modification level. M2 and M3 both need a LOT of MUs.

10-Pair with a sturdy, stable hull. Stick to Hornet, Hunter, or my personal favorite Viking. Maybe Dictator. Heavy hulls can't move fast enough to be effective with this turret. Wasp requires a lot of skill to drive and Rico takes a lot of skill to use - you would have to be EXTREMELY coordinated to make a Wasp-Rico combo work.

Ricochet turns so slowly that it's hard to hit anything at all.

I have an uncle named Rick and this thread made me think of him. ;)

if you think Ricochet turns slowly, use its ability of its balls rebounding of walls.

I do not understand this chart to figure out how many shots Rico has in a full clip. I asked in the official Rico topic, but people seem to not know either. Please tell me how it works, with m3+ as an example. Thanks. ;)

It's pretty simple :)

"Energy Reserve" is the max. amount of energy that Rico has when fully loaded. "Energy per shot" is the amount of energy drained from Rico's reserve every time you fire.

So, for each full load, Rico can fire the following amount of times:

  • M0 — 1000/149.32 = 6.7
  • M1 — 1000/145.65 = 6.87
  • M2 — 1000/140.5 = 7.12
  • M3 — 1000/132.41 = 7.55
  • M3+ — 1000/128 = 7.81

u have to dd the reload for every second that passes

example for m4

energy=e

Secon=s

Shot= Sh

1000 e ÷ 128e/Sh =7.8125 Sh

7.8125 x 0.470 s (normal recharging time)=3.671 s

3.671 s x 100e/s (energy reloadin/second)=367

367 e ÷ 128e/Sh =2.868 Sh

2.868 x 0.470 s =1.348 s

1.348s x 100e/s = 137e , divide that by 128e/sSh and you got yourself about 1 Shot

Now you are going to want to add together all the Red thingys

7.8125+2.868+1 and we have 12 full shots.

After this shots will start to take longer time to fire, since the enrgy pool isn't full, even though the gun has reloaded.

I thin the math goes like this:1000 divided by the energy per shot for example m4

energy=e

Secon=s

Shot= Sh

For the slow shots the turret would have to reload for about 128e ÷ 100e/s, so about 1.28 seconds as opposed to the normal 0.47 seconds, and this paste of fire would continue, if the turret doesn't get to recharge.

 I think stawp's got it

Yes, he considered reload time and more data — my calculations were based on standard "theorical" data :)

Let me know if I can merge this topic with "Let's discuss Ricochet", these info may be better placed there than here.

This has been my perception as well, although I haven't quantified it like this. Great job! My experience tells me to slow down my rate of fire after about four to six shots depending on enemy tank size and whether or not they are shielded. That lets my Rico start reloading and ensures I have enough shots for my next enemy.

I halve the above if I pop double damage supply.

How many shots does it take to kill a titan and mammoth using rico m1??

My assumption is that,titan takes 13 shots and mammoth takes around 15(16?) shots.Can anyone clarify?
