+Ik about the loss of Bounce

I mean how much big is it ?

Greater or lesser that twins ?

Or similar to Thunder's ?

Twins splash radius is 4m. Ricochet splash radius is 7m. Striker splash radius is 10m. Thunder splash radius is 12m. Magnum splash radius is 15m.

Can someone who have the M2 alt play a Polygon CP with it and tell me how good was it ?

The bouncing effect is one of the strongest characteristics of Ricochet, it would be unwise to trade it for a little bit of splash damage - the M2 alteration is not worth it IMO.

I did buy the M2 alt for boards that are not set up for the "Rico" effect (i.e., not many vertical walls, buildings, etc.). It has proven to be fun for CP in such settings. Would I buy it again? Not really. I would recommend renting the M2 alt, playing the boards you like and then making a decision. Unfortunately with the new match making system you have zero control (other than kind of game) over the map.

Good luck.

There are maps that have little to no vertically 90 degree walls, like siege, forest, sandbox, and probably others. In these maps, the bouncing effect is useless, that is where splash damage comes in handy.

And remember, the splash radius is 7m, or 14m in diameter, which is almost 3 blocks, you can cram several tanks in that area.

Those maps have ramps

Which can be used to bounce the shots

Go to sandbox and try it

That's true but it's up to a point, the further away the enemy moves from the ramp, the harder it will be to hit them with the ricochet ability.

Yes , you can hit them only if they are near the ramp

People say that the alteration that makes projectiles faster is actually really good. And it does look that way on paper. Personally, M2 Rico is super common at these ranks, and seems to be a solid choice. Are there better turrets for Poly CP? Definitely, but it's generally a turret you can use almost anywhere. If you're talking about the M2 rico alteration then forget it. If you want splash damage then play Thunder, It's not really worth it to lose the bounce effect.

It was not. The splash simply did not do enough damage to enough tanks.

If you want splash damage in Poly CP, Striker will be most effective due to lower penetration of protection modules. I’ve turned around a few Poly CP battles by switching to Striker mid way through.

what about twins? should i buy it with viking m3 or should i go for rico?

For fun, Rico.

Twins if you anticipate a lot of DM and RGB play.

On forest the ramps and log cabins are actually very helpful with the Rico effect. But in general I agree!

This is perfect advice!!! Rico is just a fun and creative turret! Not to mention once you mu it to 15+ at M3 it wrecks hornets and wasps in 3 shots.

Oh ok i have given up the m2 alt

Yesterday i went to battle with legends with my marshal& Field marshal Friends using battle group

I had m1 Vik 10/10 , so it is m2 & m2 rico at 9/10

I faced a M3 twins and found how unstable vik was  he just tossed me around

But i managed to kill him cause i had m2 rico at 9/10

It is the best turret to face durgers after twins

Yeah, Twins and Smoky are Viking’s nemeses.

I think any turret with a great deal of impact force is a Vikings worst nightmare, which is pretty much every single turret with the impact force feature (excluding striker and Vulcan)

*Coughs* Vulcan can be really annoying once you're mid-air

I should have included Vulcan. There’s nothing worse than trying to approach a Vulcan-Titan head on with the bullet stream pushing you backward.

That push can be used to your advantage though. When you want to get away from a Vulcan who is firing on you, throw your Viking into reverse and simultaneously turn so that you swing a full 180 degrees and drift-park behind a building. The Vulcan push will actually help you complete the maneuver, assuming you survive.

Just picked up Rico in the Tanki birthday sale.

The funny thing was that I had never even used it once - not even with a low ranked alt.

Just took a gamble during the 50% off turret sale, and I'm having a great time with it - what a great turret.

I should have bought it sooner!

Picked up the M1 Alt (Minus-field stabilization) while at it for 50% off as well - thanks TO!

It is now in my primary 3 goto turrets:  Isida/Smoky/Rico

Was going to go either Rail or Rico.  I suspect that Rail protection is more common then Rico protection.

I'll have to pick up Rail at a future date.

MFS is not a must if you are playing in a small map ,

If you have no problem with hiting

Enjoy the standerd reload in small maps , even in big maps it will have no problem

I use MFS on ALL maps - even ones like Barda.

It's not just the range increase - it's the speed of the shots. Harder to dodge and they deal damage much quicker.  Plus the impacts are closer together and throw off aim better.  If you can't kill your target with a full clip it won't matter how fast you recharge.

Small maps?   None in MM unless you consider Red Alert or Barda small.  (I don't).

If you are happy with way it performs without alteration - keep going.  The turret is fun either way.
