Garage description:

 

Small range turret. Plasma projectiles will ricochet and damage enemies even out of your field of vision. Has a limited energy capacity, which recharges over time.

Plasmagun “Ricochet” is a new secret device created by top Siberian researchers. To mass-produce this turret, a team of 22 specialists worked for 3 years straight in an underground bunker without permission to see the sky. The final result is quite unique. This weapon fires plasma projectiles, coated with a “smart” minus-field. When hitting a tank the projectile will explode, but if it hits a solid obstacle it will bounce off and continue its flight. This way, using Ricochet you can hit targets even if you can’t see them. Unfortunately, it was impossible to solve the safety issue completely, and plasma rounds can easily bounce back and hit the tank that fired them in the first place. The “smart” minus-field is clever, but not clever enough to distinguish enemy tanks from the user.

It used to have 17 balls before rebalance :( Now 10

The only reason why M0-M1 can be considered good in the lower ranks is because everyone's either low on Health or slow. Slow speed = you can't escape those balls.

I find ricochet really annoying as a good player can follow my movements. Please explain why it's so terrible as it can beat my thunder in a head on duel.

Ricochet turns so slowly that it's hard to hit anything at all.

:-) Haha Okay, thanks, I'm pretty new to it but trying to learn skills as quickly as poss. Any advice on fighting ricochets? I mean you can't exactly dodge each ball as it comes! :-P

I have a m2 rico but even on my noob acc with m0 it is still effective even against major ranks so it is not useless just some fools don't know how to use it

I don't know why people think Rico is UP(UnderPowered). Rico is a great turret but it surely isn't one for a less skilled player or a noob. It requires great skill and practice to be able to own the battlefield with Rico but if you don't have that much skill then it still is pretty effective in DMs. In my opinion Rico is best used with Vikings in DM mode while in CTF it is better to use it's better with hornet as the extra speed of the sports car helps to capture flags and get to enemies with long range weps while staying away from short ranged ones.

I'm going to have to try it out on test server next time they are up but I have m0 and stopped using it wayyy back when I was a noob cause I thought it sucked.  I can't even remember the last time I saw a rico winning a battle unless he was staying drugged whole game .

Trust me, its epic when you're pro. I tried m2 (dont ask me how) And I camped, I volleyed the whole charge and it was 100% KO

Be perpendicular to the turret. Press Up and down.

In my opinion, Ricochet is a good weapon; you just need to get used to it a little bit. Save your shooting bar, count carefully and don't waste any ball. It is even better when you get it at the rank you unlock it, and play with the lowest ranks possible.

richo is a deadly weapon if you know how to use it, the only problem is the reload.
