After the 'balancing' of turrets and hulls, I never found Dictator to be unstable. It's not like it used to be...

^mainly its stability and size counts. in places like sandbox, you can use the tower to your advantage to hide from them tall hulls like mammy and dic and when you want to shoot, come out of your hiding place and destroy them. viking's flat structure allows for better stealth, slightly faster gameplay and a huge amount of stability.

Dictator can actually fire at people on the platform in Sandbox without having to drive up there. Viking can't do that.

 

Viking's shortness is good for stealth, I'll give you that, but I never found Dictator's stability to be a problem. Dictator's actually more stable than Viking in general, since its weight is higher.

FYI you sound like one with your wording.

Volume is the internal space of a 3 dimensional object, and density is how dense an object is.

Never said anything about the density, so I'm not sure what you're trying to say here. Dictator has more weight than Viking, so it's more stable in general. I have no way of knowing the volume of Dictator or the volume of Viking, so I can't calculate density.

If you're ever curious as to finding out, Viking is 5.2 metres long. You should be able to calculate stuff from there

weight is the wronf factor to compare stability. i can demonstrate with an example: what if you had a very tall lego tower (whiich is thin too) and you push it with a little force, what will happen? it topples on its side. but in order to do the same with a flatter lego tower whos width is greater than the hwight, it is going to be a whole lot harder to do that. that is what makes viking stable... and i DID mention the part about dic being able to shoot other tanks in a place like sandbox, unfortunately in that place the players up on the platform have a slight advantage as there are various props placed conveniently for them to hide, but since the dic is so large, it can be easily shot. viking, in this example is the better of the two because it has the height of the platform itself as cover

stability counts 95% on the shape, and THEN weight. you can check this out by having a couple of railees attack one side of you at the same time and try the same out with viking.

One of the main reasons why I got Viking M2 instead of Dictator M2

I suppose the 70% sale was a larger factor though...

Please don't just say "ricochet sucks" or things like that, it's useless and practically flooding. (you're probably thinking that about this comment, but anyway.) Has anyone got any suggestions as to how to best fight ricochet?

Depending on wat gun u use... i use thunder and wasp (i also have a rico :D) and basically using the thunder splash i manage to create same (almost) effect as a rico... i also do drive by's... because my damadge is higher than a rico per  shot and reload time... its all about using ur gun and hull to its max potention.... think like a rico.... get its attention, then run, place a mine and.... tada! BOOOM!

Tanki physics aren't the same as they are in real life you know -_- Weight has the most importance here, maybe centre of a mass a tiny bit. But Dictator reacts to shots better than Viking sooo....

Ricochet is op its like twins m2 almost it knocks your tank out of aim and its WAY TOO POWERFUL before you say i'm a noob ***** just join ricos i have m1 smokey it costed like 10000 crystals total cause if upgrades and i bought it on tanki's 5th birthday its pretty good and what happends when you see another guy with rico he drugs hes actually skilled and bought upgrades that's why i don't buy it.  A lot of people are used to rico so there good at using it so that's my point please don't downvote for no apparent reason or just because you hate me personally. That's what noobs do and i'm not a noob below wo1 is noob its pretty much confirmed. And i'm pretty good at tanki.

Ricochet turns so slowly that it's hard to hit anything at all.

Please get your definitions straight first. People refer to their lower-ranked alternate accounts as "noob accounts" here.

 

Also, please tell me where you learned that "noobs" can only be people under WO1. It generally refers to people who aren't skilled, and that doesn't always have a correlation to rank. A Generalissimo could still be called a noob by his/her teammates if he/she was really bad at playing.

I'm very well aware that "noob" and "newbie" are interchangeable, but most uses of "noob" I see use the skill definition. Hence why I said "generally".

Can anyone here with M2 Ricochet tell me if the rate of fire increase from a few MUs is noticeable or not? I'm getting it at New Year's, so information on what to MU would be useful.

Hmm, Ricochet's projectile radius increases from M0-M3. I wonder if that's a noticeable difference.

I haven't MU'ed my Rico one bit, but it's pretty strong. Fire rate is excellent ---- shots get off in quick enough succession. Like you said, the balls are bigger so you can occasionally snip someone :)
