I play on both - fire m2 on small, rail/shaft m2 on big maps. Rarely use freeze now, saving for m3 some day when I get closer to marshall.  :lol:

the only problem is it doesn't have rail protection, so when I get wasp m2 and fire m2 I probably won't be able to survive rail shots, but sandstone has 20% rail so I can still survive.

The Smokies critical hit is nice when you are equipped with one. If not, I hate it.

yeah I do have tundra, but I dunno if I should get another paint or not.

ok so back to smoky, do you think smoky m3 is still usable at high ranks? med kit m3 has smoky m3 and hunter m3 in it... and picasso, so I guess it still is. :D

Every 10 shots, you get 1.8 criticals, so yeah, on average 5 to 6 shots between critical hits.

I'd tell you to start getting M3s but all yours seem to unlock late. Either way, as you progress, you're going to find it a struggle to stay alive especially with Wasp

but i still see people not used on the short range of smoky and the longer range of thunder..  

like in map desert .. yet i see people using thunder trying to get close to other tanks and people with smoky trying to shoot from far

Yup and the fear of smoky's critical damage has gone much less now.. most people are using anti thunder paints and anti rails 

But they are underestimating the new power of smoky at short ranges.

actually it's a good thing, when smokies shoot you from a far range they do less damage :D when thunders shoot you at close range they do damage to themselves :)
