@killerpenguin: Love your name by the way. But I disagree with your comment. I've been hit (Silence, I was blue team, on top) by a critical across the map (and Silence is not huge) and it took about as much HP from my Wasp as a Twins plasma ball. Sorry, but Smoky was nerfed BAD. You were probably getting lucky and hitting people with almost no health.

I've had M1 Smoky for a while (like a few months after the massive rebalance), and it still feels dissapointing to use and it feels like a pea-shooter even with the crits. The rebalance made it mediocre, and the re-rebalance just made it a completely different weapon. Is it just me?

M1 Smoky is available to me now, but I'm probably not going to get it. Not much of an improvement over M0. I think I'll get M1 Shaft next.

M1 Smoky is available to me now, but I'm probably not going to get it. Not much of an improvement over M0. I think I'll get M1 Shaft next.

Just MU Shaft to 142 Damage and a little bit of practice, you're then fit to join leiutenant battles.

Smoky M3s damage of one shot is equal to one Rico M2 shot....

 

Isn't this a little unfair?

Before the rebalance, smoky m2 was going to be my last m2. Now, I do not like it. I liked it because of its harmful crits and range. Now crits are not so different from a regular shot to me. The range just dies. -_-

Now, critical hit has been unfairly lowered TWICE on the turrets and hull changes...... I WANT MY  OLD SMOKY CRITICAL HIT BACK!!!!!  :mellow:  :(  :unsure:  :wacko:  :blink:  :o  :angry:  :angry:  :angry:  :angry:  :angry:  :tank:  :tank:  :tank:  :tank:  :tank:

Is Smoky better than thunder

Probably depends more on skill. A skilled Smoky would be able to make the Thunder miss or take advantage or self-damage, while a skilled Thunder would make sure to keep its distance and destroy from afar.

@Loakie : Not nearly as good as it once was. Of course, Hunter is better, but now Smoky is only useful on Wasp IMO where you can get within (the tiny) range of your enemies. Not to mention, M2 Ricochet does same damage as M3 Smoky... with each separate plasma ball, firing about 2 of them per second...

Nah worst weapon if you want fast reload just use twins or ricochet. The crit-hit is a plus but is rare and still isn't a one hit KO. It has low damage to. Good if you want to yolo it but not for anything else -_-
