You can edit your post, just FYI.

M2 Smoky is the most expensive M2 turret in the game, I think. It's also widely considered to be the best M2; many people say their M2 Smokies can compete with M3s.

Ahem... M2 Twins...

Ahem... M2 Twins...

My bad. I'll edit my post.

i think smoky is the weakest turret there is i mean i have m1 smoky and it takes me 3 shells to take out a m0 wasp

Smoky's normal shots don't deal much damage, but that doesn't make it a bad weapon. The critical hits (which can do quite a bit of damage) and impact force are what you should be taking advantage of.

M2 Smoky is the most expensive M2 turret in the game, I think. Correction: it's the second most expensive M2 turret in the game. It's also widely considered to be the best M2; many people say their M2 Smokies can compete with M3s.

So, if a smoky m1 v smoky m2, smoky m2 would win. But if m2 smoky v m3 smoky, what would win then???

^ Not necessarily. In layman's terms, Smoky M3 would win against Smoky M2 because one is an M3, and the other is an M2 so the M3 obviously has more power etc by Tanki mechanics. However, because of Smoky's unique critical hit probabilities, there is a possibility that the M2 could get 3 crits in a row and the M3 would not. Therefore, assuming that the paints and hulls are the same, the M2 would win. It's a rare scenario, yes, possible nonetheless.

No, Smoky can not get multiple crits in a row. In fact, M3 has a higher chance for crits than M2.

In a M3 Smoky vs. M2 Smoky scenario, the M3 Smoky would usually win.

M2 could get 3 crits in a row and the M3 would not.

It's impossible for a Smoky (any modification) to get multiple crits in a row. The critical chance is reset to a negative value upon scoring a critical hit, so you'll need to land one or two more shots on an opponent before the possibility of getting critical hits is a positive number.

I've seen it where a person gets 2 crits in a row. Ok, so you don't get 3 in a row. You can still get 2 in a row, then a normal, followed by a normal. If you did that with an M2 against M3 you would win with your M2. My point is, M3 Smoky doesn't necessarily have to win against M2. Chances are better, yes, but it's not set in stone.

2 in a row isn't supposed to be possible either. If you've seen someone get 2 crits in a row, it was either some rare glitch with the calculations or another Smoky user landed a crit after the first user did (which is most likely what happened). Another possibility would be that you saw this before Smoky's critical hit mechanics were changed to its current form; before that (not sure exactly when), you could get 2 or more extremely powerful crits in a row if you were lucky.

I agree that M3 Smoky doesn't necessarily have to win against M2 Smoky, but if it loses, it's very likely not going to be because the M2 Smoky somehow got 2 crits in a row.

Everything goes better with Wasp, I can try to justify all the turrets. :3

Depends on map, your team, the opposing team, type of battle (ctf,cp,dm, or tdm), and what the other teams equipment is

It has fastest speed ingame need I say more? :P

Speed isn't everything, one with speed can easily be out witted and outgunned by someone with heavier protection, considering weight, and the number you have and or going against.
