OK I'm in a tough situation here guys I got 106,000 crystals when I rank 122,000 should I get smoky m2 viking m2 or just smoky m2 or smoky m2 and wasp m2 or save for something else... Is smoky good??? Everybody I asked said yes so I think I'll be getting it with either viking or wasp or just smoky... I was thinking just smoky m2

smoky is harder to aim and use then thunder, u need good aiming skills past mid range battles, i found smoky m2 only good in certain maps, if u got an m2 hull just use it, vik m2 if u want

Smoky isn,t made to do long ranged battles. It is more of a short-mid ranged weapon.

smokey is a great turret. it shoots good. it gives you the proper training for railgun. and it's shot doesn't expose your camping site. it's a great hull. but it's time for a new look to be honest

Smoky has been completely OP: reason

 

Its critical hit can spread around! If you hit one opponent, it'll move to another, if they're touching each other! So Thunder is Useless! Thunder needs more power and NEEDS MORE RELOAD SPEED!

Achieved this on the test server in about 5 minutes of playing with M4 Smoky-Hunter/Prodigi. The enemy team was mostly Hornet-Railguns, and you can see why carnage ensued.

 

Pro tip for XP fans: if you're being attacked by a Smoky-Hunter with a Railgun protection paint, you probably should switch to something else.

Smoky without crits is probably worse than Thunder without splash damage. A Thunder without splash damage would still be able to do a lot of damage against single targets. A Smoky without critical hits wouldn't be able to do that much damage at all- it would be only really useful on Starladder matches, where most of the enemies will be Hornet-Rails.

Smoky without crits is probably worse than Thunder without splash damage. A Thunder without splash damage would still be able to do a lot of damage against single targets. A Smoky without critical hits wouldn't be able to do that much damage at all- it would be only really useful on Starladder matches, where most of the enemies will be Hornet-Rails.

Smoky without crits would simply be a powerhouse for balance (which i THINK that's the intent now), while Thunder loses ALL its uniqueness by losing its splash damage. Smoky would only be slightly more different (tiers...), but  Thunder would lose its steeper risks and better reward.

Smoky is good for anything if you mount it on a hunter or viking

MU is essential for this combo, but do not fully MU any parameters to obtain discounts. If you really fall in love with this, you can MU the Hp of wasp and critical of smoky by 10-11 steps at most. NEVER go any further unless you are a hardcore buyer.

I waited and will be buying smoky m2 soon when I rank and when there is a sale. You can micro upgrade it but using another m1 turret like twins or thunder might be better to save crystals.
