At m2 modification smoky would be quite good as compared to m1 the reload is awesome. It's one of the critical turrets as you don't see them around battle field as much, as well as it has good advantage with its Critical hits.

Problem with M2 smoky is it unlocks so late. And at the next rank M3 Thunder unlocks and thunder is about 60K cheaper. To me M2 smoky is strictly a luxury item and for die-hard smoky zealots.

M2 Smoky is incredibly useful, with a faster reload time and a higher impact force, making it great for single-target suppression.

M3 Thunder is great for crowd control and mid-range harassment.

M3 Thunder is more expensive than M2 Smoky (compare ~186K vs ~114K). They're both quite effective, but I fear M2 Smokies a lot more than M3 Thunders in general due to the lack of anti-Smoky paints and M2 Smoky's insane stats. They're practically on the same level if you ask me.

 

That's only if you're talking about vanilla M3 Thunder though- it becomes significantly more effective once you start putting micro-upgrades into it. A M2 Smoky will have a hard time fighting a M4 Thunder.

Yea, M1 Smoky does pretty good for a while there. But once you hit the Warrant ranks there are "better" weapons. I used M1 smoky till I got to W/O 1. Then I got M1 rico. Been using it ever since.

Smoky has been completely OP: reason

 

Its critical hit can spread around! If you hit one opponent, it'll move to another, if they're touching each other! So Thunder is Useless! Thunder needs more power and NEEDS MORE RELOAD SPEED!

Hornet would not go best with smoky because it gives the opponent little damage ! So do not choose Smoky!

The only turrets that can outmatch smokey are Rico and Railgun in medium and close range, twins and firebird in close range. Other than that it's a great weapon but its price is rather expensive.

I know that I said Thunder is bad but, I've changed my mind! My alt account uses Thunder and I wreck everybody with it. So, considering my opinion, Thunder and Smoky are the most fun turrets in the game (IMO). I plan to M4 my Thunder later on in the game ^_^

Which hulls would you recommend, out of Mammoth, Hunter and Hornet?
