Is Smoky M3 Wasp M3 an amazing combo?

Yep it really is amazing.

Definitely my favorite combo and it's really fun to play with too. It takes a lot of skill and practice to use properly, but if used correctly it can really dominate the battlefield.

Thank You

How well does smoky m3 perform on viking m3 on polygon CP?

But can you also answer this :)

Between my various accounts, I have used every turret but thunder, hammer, freeze,

and ricochet extensively.  Smoky is still my favorite for CTF.  I think it has the most

potential of any turret when used by a skilled player as it has characteristics that

make it effective against every class of weapon.  Besides this, it is very versatile

in that it can be used on Wasp, Titan, and everything in between.

I don't have too much experience with Viking, but all my friends perform pretty well with it and the general consensus among them is that it's pretty good.

I already have Thunder m3, so is it worth to buy Smoky m3?

Yes, I have both. Thunder at M4 in damage and reload, Smoky M3 and still far from any M4.

Still I use Smoky almost all the time and certainly in a 1 vs 1 the Thunder mostly looses.

When using Thunder myself I mostly loose against Smoky 's too, so while I don 't believe that 's

scientific proof at all: it does say something.

Smoky with it 's fast reload and especially on DP is very strong.

Gameplay is somewhat similar to Thunder but with the emphasis on using impact force

to make the enemy miss and IMO with an inherent faster gameplay.

On one of my alts, I use only Titan and Smoky as my only combo. After I have MU'ed the first 4 parameters, should I go for Critical % or Critical Damage next?

Thanks! :) (I'm not very sure about Smoky MUs, through.)

^ So u just wasted 160K trying to MU a M1? But the M2 is only 115K now you need to pay 26K to get the M2 as its on 70% discount.Bad mistake mate

Anyways MUing the %  CD of Smoky full will cost you 34K and only gives you a 10% discount. But now you can buy the M2 for 26K so I advise you get the M2 instead when it unlocks. Next time never MU non M3 stuff its not worth it. Just do the next few steps which give you an advantage over others.

Nope. If I wanted to play normally, I would have focused on other things.

In the alt, I wanted to see how far an MUed M1 smoky goes. On that account, I'm able to compete against higher ranks up to maybe colonel since it has m2 smoky damage (if they don't drug heavily).

It is also that account's only weapon I use, so it made sense to upgrade it.

I'm doing the same thing with Smoky/Wasp with this account. Just finished Impact Force and Hull Speed. It is an unsurprisingly viable combo in most maps. I wrote about it in Wordpress back in August. https://thesmokyproject.wordpress.com/2015/08/29/what-is-the-smoky-project/

I honestly think that F2P players can take advantage of MUs to make a single combo work past the ranks its modification is below-par. (IE Stock Dictator-Rico M2 would be awful at Marshall. MUs can make it competitive.)

To give you an idea how good m2 is, I never used smoky m1... I bought it but hated it and couldn't win games with it, but I kept seeing high rankers with smokies killing everybody so I tried out m2 and m3 on the test server and WOW what a difference. I could hang with all the m3's on test server with smoky m2 and have a high d/l so I went ahead and got it after alot of testing and I'm doing great with it.

What you mean M1 is no good? It is boss, I have it 25% micro upgraded and it is the destroying machine - although not as good as M2...

these days dumbo, when you fully micro upgrade a turret or hull, it is 100% off, which means it's free. If you want to not micro upgrade your equipment then you will have terrible items all the way until you can get the next modification

You are right, but fully micro-upgrading equipment is very expensive.

A Smoky M1 with "only" full regular damage is already a very worthy opponent.

It 's better to take one (or two) very significant parameter like damage and MU that fully and

get a discount of around 30% on the next modification.

Micro-upgrade other parameters just a little bit: first steps are ofc also the best.

Smoky is maybe 1 of the best weapons in the game. I saw the critical damage for M3 and it says 100.0 damage, thats basically 2 shots of a regular shot. When it does DP, on a mammoth thats taking out half the damage of a mammoth M3. I think smoky is a great weapon for everyone. It's to bad they removed the Smoky XT. You can also calculate how many shots it takes to a enemy down.

Hornet- 1-4 shots.

Wast 1-3 shots.

Hunter 2-5 shots.

Viking 2-5 shots.

Dictator 3-6 shots.

Mammoth- 4-8 shots.

Thunder might have the power.. but does it have great uses besides splash damage.

I think it's definitely possible as well, but the main problem with using only 1 combo is when at times enemies uses Anti-Smoky paint and you can't switch weapon. My main enemies in Polygon include kit-buyers, Twins and druggers. When kit-buyers drug; they kick the ***** outta my near my 300 Defense Titan M1 and Near Smoky 2 Tank. Twins are annoying as they rekt with their impact force up close. Against them, I have like 40% success rate.

Thunders & Rico aren't so bad since they have a longer reload rate than smoky. Surpisingly not many M2 fires in M2 ranks, but lots of Hammers M1-M2 and Twins M1.

Maybe I should save for rogers/urban...

Also at Marshal, you can already have access to Rico M3 with that Redneck kit.

P.S: I started that account because I was inspired by your Smoky Project.. do you drug much with it, or play as little drugs as possible?
