 im going to inform you guys now that smoky was the most weakest useless arsenal that I chose when i first played this game. As time goes on my tank got faster and the smoky whollops a bigger and harder punch over the time i have been using it.  It has accurate long range capability.  Smoky reloads faster than most but most importantly it has a critical damage that normally destroys the enemy with one shot, the only drawback is that I just never know when this critical damage will occur against the enemy.  I always hope that when i go against a bigger and fatter tank, my smoky will do some serious damage on the fatty,  'hope' it does the critical damages that it is capable of.

When i am out of range of the enemy, when my smoky does the least damage becuz i am just too far away from the enemy is my biggest negative.  This is normal for all turrets, but I feel like when i am just so far away I am not doing any damage to the enemy and they are just using me as target practice with their shaft turrets. Up close and mid-range, my turret rotates quickly and my hull can outmaneuver most other tanki players, so both these combos create a very lethal tanki destroyer, Micro upgrading your smoky turret is the key to creating a more lethal smoky <_<

how good is smoky with wasp?

If you are accurate enough, good at firing on the move, and know where all the pickups in the map are. You can get many many kills! Just add skill.

And water, then bake in the microwave for ten to eleven minutes for desired results.

Hi fellow tankers, I have been blessed with a personal discount on smoky m2. It is 35% off costing 74,620 crystals and I currently have around 85k. I was saving for paladin but I don't think I will get anywhere near there looking at the cost of that beast and I think that this might be a better alternative, as I've heard smokey m2 and m3 are quite similar. Another reason for why I am leaning towards tanking advantage of this discount is because after buying the bulldozer kit (Btw no, I am not a buyer, I earn my crystals through missions and xp/bp battles.) I find that thunder m3 is a piece of poop when I play with people at or above my rank. I constantly have to drug which was what I was NOT hoping for when I bought the kit. I believe that smoky should redeem my horrible purchase of the bulldozer kit. Tell me if I am completely irrational and that I should stick to my thunder m3 or if I am thinking on the right tracks and should go for the purchase of smoky m2. I only have one day to chose or not to chose so plz reply fast. Thanks in advance for your time, it is truly appreciated.

Tough one to crack. I 'll try:

Looking at your profile you rather play with light hulls than with a snail (yes,it is) like Mammoth.

Wasp/Rail seems to be your favorite, as is mostly playing in CTF.

Which is good because light hulls do at least well in CTF 's.

Also an important factor is your style. From the profile I can 't see what that is.

You could be a camper who only uses Wasp 's speed to get out of trouble or you could be a mobile

Wasp/Rail player who takes risks and is all over the place. Maybe you play XP/BP?

Also important is how fast you aim.

If you are the camping type of player: don 't get Smoky.

If you are the mobile type (XP/BP): Smoky is a good option especially if you can aim fast on the move.

Personally I aso rather use Smoky on a light hull than Thunder.

Thunder is at it 's best with medium/heavy hulls.

Thunder M3 is a turret that definitely needs micro-upgrades to compete.

Smoky M2 is good from the start and micro-upgrades don 't change that much,

so you shouldn 't (don 't have to) invest a lot in MU 's.

About drugging: a light hull combo benefits imo the most from three supplies.

These are mines, speed and above all double power.

Don 't waste precious crystals if you are not a buyer) on double armour because a light hull dies soon anyway when

under fire and restoring that little health again with a 150 cri medkit is really a total waste.

Just use the ones you get from Daily Missions.

Mines are great for close-range melee fighting, dropping one at the right time is extremely effective against your enemy.

Mines can also be freely ccumulated by Daily Missions, so is speed. Speed is also quite easily picked on a battlefield.

The only drugs you could occasionally invest in are DP 's.

You live relatively short, than make the most of that time...DP does wonders to your kill-rate.

Very effective with Smoky imo.

So here it is. Maybe there are some points that can be helpful in your decision.

Good luck!

Smoky/titan is my combo of choice when using smoky. The crits are not too strong, tho at M1[what i have] .

It takes 1 crit +1- 2 regular shots to kill a wasp.

Still its kinda fun,tho rico is my all time fav

if u know the smoky way even a smoky wasp can stand first in a dm. besg smoky pairing is with wasp viking and titan

Titan/Smoky with a fairly skilled player is a winner in DM in small and medium maps.

In larger maps you have a better chance with more mobility:

so a medium like Viking would be a better pick in that case.

Skilled players can choose Wasp or Hornet, but they better avoid small maps.

Between Wasp and Hornet I rather choose Hornet, mainly because of it 's stability.

(and I prefer it 's centralized turret).

With both light hulls it 's ofc. all about avoiding being shot as much as possible.

Wasp has also a lot going for it, but when under fire it becomes pretty much helpless,

while Hornet when making the right corrections has a much better chance to quickly return fire.

Ofcourse both hulls are in big trouble when facing an ungoing barrage of Ricochet,

or even worse Vulcan.

Overall Smoky benefits from a stable platform (like Titan and Viking) to keep

shooting in a steady rhytm.

A Smoky player has to land those hits otherwise you better

keep it gathering dust in the garage.

Smokey needs to be nerfed! It is too OP a weapon there is no other turret that can compete with its all around performance.

And that 's why it has got to be nerfed? Yeah, it 's allround, but that also means it doesn 't excel in

anything special as well. It 's the full package that makes it a decent turret.

Close to worthless at close-range and at long distance it deals only low damage.

Besides if you think Smoky is that good, than why not get a Smoky M2 yourself when you become a Colonel? :D
