Should i buy paladin as soon as it unlocks in shop?

Or should i buy another m3 kit.Love every weapon but thunder, vulcan, isida, freeze, and striker. Not sure about shaft.

I can buy anything under 80 usd.

I am aiming for Paladin. It used to be Prometheus I wanted, but Paladin (Smoky) gives me at least some range to fight with. I didn't mind the damage nerfing of Firebird, but they took away the one aspect that made it dangerous (and made up for its short range) was the damage it could do through tanks.

Plus it is annoying to be hit by Smoky when you don't know where it's coming from.

Wasn't the "dangerous aspect" that was taken away the afterburn? ;)

Smoky- some say it is a bit OP...

Smoky is your basic shell-shooter. Now lets think how the critical hits work...it would be a shot that landed at the right angle, or hit a vulnerable spot. But if you make it like that then you would also have to consider shots that bounce/ricochet off the armor, or hit a really protected spot and don't inflict much damage.

Hence "unlucky shots". These shots would do less damage than a normal shot in the way a critical does more, with the same chance of occurring. This could be added to Smoky. Then you would have an (M3) alteration that removes unlucky shots and makes criticals more common, while increasing reload time, decreasing turret turning speed, and decreasing up/down auto-aim.

"precision targeting?" If you think about it all of the alteration's changed aspects make sense when you consider the purpose is to land solid, accurate shots. :)

Afterburn still exists. But now you cannot attack multiple tanks unless they were side-by-side. The tank behind is shielded by the tank in front now when it concerns Firebird/Freeze.

Well- afterburn still exists but besides M4 it has ceased to be of much worth.

As for the rest, of course I know that. :P

That moment M0 Firebird damages you just enough to where it's borderline non existent after burn kills you o.O

I love Smoky but Critical hit isn't much help as its 1 to 2 hundred more hit points than its regular shots. Alterations! Alterations can be resolved with every turret like one can be more dominant than the other. Example, Smoky's alterations for increased impact force is 30% and if I use the other alteration for increased damage for critical hit and minimum damages shouldn't it raise Smoky's impaction force? After all taking away smoky critical hit and most unique part of if it, should be at least raised it's impaction force if damage is raised. But those are my thoughts.

I don't see how that's a problem...

Interesting it seems to be Railgun and Rico for me, depending on the map.

As a Smoky user, Ricochet has always been the bane of my existence, more so back when it was OP and every second turret was one, but Smoky requires a precise aim on the move and getting constantly battered by those incoming balls is very frustrating. That's why I bought Spark back in the day and brought it up to 38% rico protection. Gives me time.

Rico can be a major PITA unless you can dodge 1 or 2 plasma balls. If you do it's Advantage Smoky.

IF you want people to read your comments, don't make them so annoying to read by making them big, bolded with color and italics -_-

And being weakened. 30% isnt much and they're lowering it .-.

And increased re-load... LMAO.   If they keep it up Thunder reload will be faster than smoky. And the damage isn't even close.

There's... just... no more words....

They tend to have impeccable timing when you just got the turret you wanted and when you are nearly finished MUing it to the max they nerf it.
