Smoky does lose damage from its critical shots at long distances, I have no idea how much though.

You'll definitely notice, when you play Stadium maps.

probably the same % as when you normally hit one without critical.

Really? I thought it didnt since in garage it dosent have a (-), so that would mean its exactly that much everytime. Unlike some guns which are in a range like 30-45 (ex)

Even the numbers which display ranges of damage, '30-45' in your example, do not account for the loss of damage due to distance. Thunder M3 says 63-85 or whatever, but it only deals like 30% of that from long distances.

Smoky, from my experience, either does 100% damage, or 50% damage. There is a set amount of meters which determines this. It drops off immediately in my experience. This includes critical hits. As for a guess, i believe the range of which it loses its 50% damage is around 70-75 meters it seemed. (A distance just slightly longer than Combe)

My testing was done with m0 Smoky vs a friend using hornet. from 0-75ish meters, he died in 5 shots. From 80+, it required 10 shots to kill him. Also, a critical hit (which normally would 1-shot kill an m0 hornet) did not kill him. It required a critical + 2-4 shots. (I forget the exact number - this was done a few weeks ago.)

Glad to hear that. :D

Ohh and I'm not a moderator.

U moderate the forums right?

And on topic: smoky isn't all that at m1 I've got the rank with 3 diamonds I forgot the name yet is it any better at m2. Can a 3o damage every few seconds defeat the likes of gruesome m2 Vikings and mammoths

critical hit is awesome and i personally think the critical hit ratio goes up the more you modify, but other than the critical s its pretty low on damage if your fighting vikings and mammoths but thunder surpasses smoky at the m3 modification so i would personally go for thunder but its your choice :D

Your rank is 1st Lieutenent. M1 smoky is pretty good as it is. At M2 it just gets better and even better at M3.

Smoky

This mid-caliber weapon is a monster, not dueing to it's size, but it's reaction speed. Packed with uranium and nanotechnologies, smoky has a good advantage of giving a critical hit ( depends on the upgrade )

in theory I do that, he is a good consultant.

What do u do then? Speak instead of who I'm directing to?

And smoky m1 is pretty good I got a decent score of 580 approx yesterday and I didn't get many criticals. I knw that smoky is awesome but like for example I was playing with higher ranks just under generalissimo and a mamoth m2 tank with m2 smoky had drugs on the entire match and he only still barely managed to score 700 in one hour

Whereas with my dictator and isida m2 combo ( best combo ever) I managed to score 790 without drugs

Smoky slowly becoming less popular as many ppl get protections for it but it's not too bad. It's all about smoky and rail gun and no paint has a good protect with both weopon a except for rare paints so either way ur at an advantage

I'm considering getting Viking m2 and mammoth m2 kit and banging my weak smoky with that crazy hull. How should I spend or use my drugs 1000 drugs kit efficiently and on a way that makes me get more outof it?

And last thing about smoky, only pro can take full advantage and noobs aren't as good with it

It's like yesterday a guy with rail gun dictator m2 was playing in bobruisk and he was drugging in the entire dirty match. Health refill when he got hit by one smoky shot and everything yet absolutely no skill just charged in tobthe base like the noob as he was, where as me I swear down then other team had 4 flags and we had 3 so decided to use drugs and I ended up using one health box and when I got to their base I could of took em out m2 shaft or drugger freeze so I took out drugger freeze and we won by a draw

It's all about the way u use ur weopon and u have to make sure u know ur weopon and ur opponents to get a good shot at winning.

All on all calculate ur smoky shots and how any shots it takes to kill an opponent if u get a critical count that as a bonus not a necessity for the turret

Thanks
