Yep, Smoky rules with DP. ;)

And Nitro :D

Ahh Hunter, that's the best hull for Smoky.

I shouldn't have focused on Viking's MU's.

Yeah, Zeus is terrible to face as Smoky.

It takes ages to take them down... I don't even fire on Mammoths.

Knockback and increased fire-rate MU's do help though.

Smoky as enemy is really annoying, even with protective paints against it.

Your fav hulls are Wasp and Hunter?

Agreed, Hunter is the best hull for Smoky.

Super-allround combo and Hunter M3 is simply smooth...

The 30 HP difference at M4 is almost neglectible given the better handling.

(compared to Viking M4)

Zeus, Needle, Savanna, Jade, Tiger and Nano:

paints created by Lucifer himself if you ask me...

Yep, Smoky is annoying. I often get chased by pretty angry opponents.

I often try to offer them a mine as a sign of peace: it only makes

them even more angry! :o

On my opinion, Smoky on Viking is the best option.

Viking is stable, tough and agile enough to face both fast and strong hulls. It's the best compromise for a turret that is very powerful, but still needs 4/5 shots to become deadly with the critical.

I used to play with Thunder before the crystals refund. Then it got too underpowered and now I often see Thunders struggling around. Smoky is my turret now!

Viking is good, I use it on my alt and IMO it really depends on your type of gameplay which hull suits you the best. :)

WOW, you're back!

How've you been man, I was a WO3 since I last saw you.

Back in 2012, when we won the best of competition.

Your Thunder video rocks.

Yeah they are, even though I don't even have Hunter M3 yet; I prefer more agility since Smoky is a shooting little turret.

It's so much fun to use on Wasp too.

Mines! They work; but some people are smart... they often know when you pooped them.

Even if you stand still to mask the mine, it's obvious you're trying to use mines against enemies.

If they try to drive around the mines, you can use knockback to make them still steer into the mines.

But this rarely works... it's so hard to aim at the very edge of tanks; not even mentioning the timing.

Takes some insight to see which direction people are moving.

Your "annoying smoky-wasp" videos are just wonderful. You make that machine a thing of beauty.

Do get Hunter M3, it 's very agile, has a very decent and usable speed and at M4

has a very healthy +105 HP compared to a Wasp M4.

More over you will no longer be seen as thé primary target, something all light hull users

will recognize: another reason why it was ridiculous IMO to give medium and

especially heavy hulls even more armour... <_<

Mines were the one supply I always ignored, till at higher ranks I often became

a victim of "smart poopers" as you call them... :D

So I started to use them as well in one to one fights.

At first I mostly accidentally activated speed boost, really took some time to imprint it. :P

Very effective tactic against close-rangers: if they manage to outmaneouvre the mine

they still have to make a little detour giving you more time to get out of their reach.

If they take the trap...all the better ofcourse.

I don 't really like it when some other Tanker traps on a mine that was outmaneouvred before,

but hey that 's a part of the game.

Using knockback/impact force is indeed not easy.

It 's one of those things that are easily in theory, but it takes a long time to get the hang of (sort of) it.

Only one way to improve it: playtime.

If you read this post and are just starting with Smoky, don 't bother about using mines and knockback yet.

IMO it 's better to first learn proper driving skills and quick aiming at the center of your enemy 's hull and

work on perfecting the combination of these two basics.

Than learn the essential rocking/tipping technique.

If you master these skills than you should have a look at more advanced techniques like the use

of those often "last escape mines" and using knockback to your advantage. Good luck! ;)

You can talk to more persons than one in a post, I just did... -_-

I will sure do, hopefully the test driver function will give me a short testdrive for Hunter M3.

Forgot about that yeah, planting mines give you some extra time to escape from short range weapons.

It's a bit frustrating sometimes with Isida, now they've boosted the range.

Did you done MU's on your Hunter yet?

There'll be a part 3 in october.  Great, your channel not about quantity but quality!

Will the music also be quality this time...? :P

If not still get it, trust me! If you don 't like it: kill me.

Yeah, if that buzzer gets a hold on you...always try to get upclose to them but if you are

already to far away to get close: your doomed

Did you done MU's on your Hunter yet? Yes, but quite reluctantly.

Wanted to do most of them on a MU sale: but when will it be again? And with or without speed-ups?

So I did some more steps than I had planned and save the rest

of the crystals/steps for that (whenever) MU sale.
