how does smoky m3 perform WITHOUT any micro-upgrades in

1) pro no drug battles

2) normal battles

generalissimo only match?

 

how would you rate smoky and hammer, m3s, out of 10 without any micro-upgrades? which one do you tend to use more, say with hunter/wasp?

 

answers from real users please... I have also memorised the wiki data but that does not help.

1) pro no drug battles bad, better have some MU 's. Most players in these battles have M4 or close to M4 afaik.

2) normal battles generalissimo only match? without MU 's don 't be sparse with DP 's: than it 's great. (many Smoky paints around also)

Hammer is a strong weapon, a real terror weapon against light and medium hulls with OP shots (used it with Viking on alt.).

When "clean" it does a better job than Smoky. (Hammer also has more effective range than it should have imo)

 

Don 't like the reload (moments of vulnerability) of Hammer though, but that 's personal: much rather have Smoky 's always ready to fire shots.

Doesn 't mean that Smoky is better though. Depends on Map size also.

It will make a difference but no clue how much. That 's because of the recent micro-upgrade update.

Now everything gets upgraded by little steps.

 

I rather had the old system so you could focus on upgrading the parameter(s) that really matter like damage.

Just got smoky m3 today...... I m so damn happy.

U can check my profile i have posted a photo of buying smoky m3 and dude Its cric. damage is so good people's tanks start shivering

I m on the top of the world with the best buy till date.

I miss smoky's old critical hit.  The one that hardly ever happened but wasted pretty much anything in one shot when it did. 

The old crit used to happen a lot more actually. Three times times in a row was very rare, but possible.

A crit was a lot more random as nowadays.

I surely wouldn 't mind if they reintoduced it. :) (small chance though)

smoky is not the best value for money gun in the game, I would say. got the game's costliest gun it deserves a little better without mus.

 

that being said, I am LOVING this gun so far. critical hits are fun and I love the challenge it poses regarding skill. I loved Rico for this reason. so much skill if necessary to matter it...

 

Clay, rock, hunter, dictator, Rico, fire, smoky... I am an elitist :P

smoky is not the best value for money gun in the game, I would say that the game's costliest gun deserves a little better without mus.

you took the words right out of my mouth... ;)

 

that being said, I am LOVING this gun so far. critical hits are fun and I love the challenge it poses regarding skill. I loved Rico for this reason. so much skill is necessary to master it...yep, if you want it the easy way than take something like Firebird or Vulcan.

Though these "hard-to-kill but easy-kill-you 's" can become frustrating at times to be honest... -_-

i would like smoky more if critical chance was based only on shots that hit an enemy. i hate trying to focus landing all shots

Ikr , with Smoky it seems so much harder to hit anyone then with Thunder

Smoky 's critical is only based on shots that hit enemies. Though if you miss a shot it doesn 't mean the chance on critical is over,

and that you have to start at zero again: you keep the build up chance that you 've already achieved.

I find it easier, but I guess it 's because you get used to the reload time of your Smoky or Thunder.

And if you change after playing with one turret for a while, you have to get back in the "rhythm".

For some reason smoky's thin barrell make it harder for me to aim with thunder. i have almost very little problems with aiming thunder

Again I think it 's mainly because of the longer reload of Thunder. With Smoky you have to aim faster between the shots.

Just a matter of getting used to it I think.

If you do imo Smoky becomes very addictive, because it keeps you very busy.

Always searching quickly for another opponent to shoot at.
