Twins seem a bit OPed nowadays....good for my Wasp-Twins combo (devil)...all my battles end with me havin D/L over 3-4 and usually on the winning side :wub:

And just to explain this to your ignorant brain (since that's what you show me with your post), if you are a pretty experienced player who starts a new account and plays against those newbies, 3-4 D/L with any combo is not much of an achievement, but then again yeah...like i said, RANT!!!!

 

 

P.S: And i just checked you profile, cause i can smell wordwide haters like you from miles away. Guess what i found (and wasn't surprised at all), you really love to hate and make pointless arguments against everyone, aren't you??!! Someone that implyes that someone else is a "lier" is pretty much hatin him. You could also check his profile...he tends to hate on people and TO generally... do a research before posting bro. Have a nice day too ;)

@a.n.t.i.c.h.r.i.s.t:apology accepted,and take my own appologie to you  if it looks offensive to you,it wasn't supposed to be..I just saw a rank,and many newbies are trying to talk stories of "mythical and epic game" and I know how those players play..I am hater only when it is needed,not on your post..yo ucan imagine proablly to see something like that by player of your alt ranking..would you beleive him..if you are expirienced as you say,and I don't have reason to suspect,then you know that twins/wasp combo is hard to master,and you can't master it with omly week or so playing the game :)

I do agree on that..to me,the funniest guys are with m2 medium kit at lieutenat ranks..everxthing he know is 2,3,4 :D but he cannot fire by rotating the turret,he turns whole tank :D and freeze users..hahahahahahahaha..direct charge on U :D

Every weapon on m3 is perfect .. But something that i don't like on twins is his distance . Try to kill hornet with speed with twins .. it's impossible.But i like him .. For me,perfect combo with twins is vik,but only m3 combo ..

Twins is an amazing turret, given it's unlimited ammo, fast firing and fast rotation. It's only downside is the limited firing range that it has.

Limited firing range means it would suck on a heavy Hull, since you would need to chase the opponent to keep hitting him. No offence but you just contradicted yourself. It's like saying that mounting Isida on a Mammoth would work well....imagine that combo against a Hornet-Freeze :lol: :lol: :lol:  Nah, after new physix update Mammoth-Twins is a very bad combo. Reasons of saying this: Mammoth now can't turn at all, and its decreased speed makes it good only with ranged turrets now.. And since Twins plasma balls' speed has decreased significantly, you can't expect to kill a Hornet or Wasp when you have a combo like Mammoth-Twins...it would be simply impossible to hit those fast hulls with Mammy-Twins nowadays.

 

So IMO now Twins goes well only on fast hulls. Heavy hulls now are only good with long ranged turrets...like Thunder-Smoky.

 

P.S:The only exception about the Mammoth-Twins combo being effective would probably be Sandbox CP battles.....yeah there it would be effective BUT...there are still much better choices. Like a Viking-Freeze....Mammoth would have no chance against that...or even against Hornet-Freeze....etc....etc. Mammy-Twins glory days are over...PERIOD! I just won today against a Mammy-Smoky (full M1 drugger)...while i had full M0 Wasp-Freeze without drugs in Sandbox CP. (Battle in spoiler...that WO1 is full M1 Mammy-Smoky drugger)

 

 

 

 

 

All i was doing is freeze him and wait till his drugs are over...then would just kill him with the assist of my teammates...he left by saying me a few "nice" words since he wasted most of his drugs for nothing :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Mammoth Twins would be one of the worst combinations in a map like Serpohuv, no doubt about that. But take it into a medium or small map like Highland, and almost your whole argument above is rendered false. Massive armor with unlimited firepower? You would dominate! The thing is, the light hulls wouldn't have time or even a place to run away to! Not to mention, (you mentioned Freeze quite a bit) Twins has a very fast rotation speed. You say Mammoth is better with long range turrets? Sorry, but I Mammoth/Railgun can not only be circled by a Freeze, but by pretty much anything on a light hull.

 

Twins is the only gun in the game that fires non-stop. Why would you waste that on a light hull? Put it on Mammoth, and tear your enemies to threads. I promise you a high DL.

I think Twins generally works best with a heavy hull. Its infinite firing duration was meant for players fighting constantly on the front lines for long periods of time. To take advantage of that, you need to make sure that you will last long enough to deal appreciable damage (Rico, at least at M0, has a higher DPS than Twins, but after a certain point Twins wins the damage race since you don't have to recharge). If you need to last long in front line combat (you can't take cover while firing Twins at your enemies), there's no better way to go than Mammoth or Titan.

Well, yeah, talking about logic...what you are saying does makes a sense, can't argue on that. And i never talked about Mammoth-Railgun, that would be as bad combo as Mammoth-Isida in a Parma CTF with drops off :lol: :lol:

 

Imagine Mammoth-Twins having an opponent like Wasp-Railgun though. Wasp would change hiding spots every single second.."peek-a-boo"ing all the time and throwing shots on the slow Mammy-Twins, while Mammy wouldn't get the chance to shoot even one plasma ball on him...in ANY map that is possible.

 

Pre New-Physx update, Twins+HeavuHull was a deadly mass killer, i agree. But right now i think it is too much nerfed and would be useless against any skilled opponent that knows how to adapt into situations. This is just my opinion about this combo, and it is out of personal experience (and i have a lot, trust me :p ). If you don't agree with my opinion, it's ok....after all, it doesn't means that i'm right...lel. Maybe some day some PRO Mammy-Twins comes and proves me wrong, who knows. But so far, all i see is a fat Tank being trolled by any lighter hull :D
