Yeah, it is totally too late to buy M1 twins at WO4 >_>

I was very disappointed in it's damage levels when I first bought M1 Twins, but since mu'ing it a bit it's holding up okay when used with Hunter M1 around my rank.

To me, Rico M1 is a more powerful and versatile weapon, but since using Twins, I'm finding Rico (with Hornet M1) is harder work and takes more effort to use - that is not to say that using Twins effectively is easy, but it is 'easier' in my experience.

I really enjoy using Twins M1 now and find that it is great for CP on small to medium maps as a support weapon and can really help turn the tide in certain situations. One problem I find though is that, as you really need both barrels on your target to maximise damage, it's a problem getting enough clear shots in with team mates in the way on smaller maps.

I made a mistake recently in mu'ing the turret turning speed of Twins M1 - I'm now struggling to stop the turret swinging around all over the place when firing on the move - well, that's the way it seems to me anyway.  I wish I could 'undo' that last micro upgrade!  I suppose I'll get used to it...

Does anyone else have to 'relearn' controling their equipment after micro-upgrading?

Planning on an alt for fire, twins, wasp, railgun, dictator and MAYBE hunter :P

At least all those items unlock almost immediately.  You won't have to go far to get the M0s.

I had the same problem with my twins.  It seems every gun is really good when you play against it, but when you get it…   Anyway, once I got one MU in damage on Twins, there was no complaining.  I have never bought M1 ricochet, so I always pick twins.  I have never had the problem of re-ajusting to an MU, though it is better to only MU turning speed on slow turning items like Mammoth or Railgun.

usually when you first buy a turret you've never used before it will start out bad

OP? hhh just run and see how they try to kill you. If they catch you tho, you're dead :P

İ hate that while using twins. :(

However, of course that is this gun's natural point.

Yes, Thunder and Twins are both great drugging weapons.  Let's agree to disagree.  :P

The one advantage to twins is not having to wait to shoot. The disadvantage is less damage done. But on a recent game in Rio, one change (a shaft to twins) swung the score. The other team had no answer. It was 11-5, then faded to 13-13, then with the one change, it went to 27-14 in 10 minutes. Twins works well with a Hornet or Viking so that it can take some punishment without needing "drugs" (double armor, double damage). The only real value to using Repair is if you want to stay exactly where you are and there is no Isida to come to your aid.

the big bro, minigun will come out soon xD

twins might be replaced :o

What you say!

I have used miniguns/gatling guns on other tank games. It depends on how powerful it is and what its continuous firing limits are. If Twins had a reload wait, I would never have bought it. In one game, there is a fast cooldown on the barrels so you can fire for 10-15 seconds cyclic and then have to slow down but still an effective rate.

And i doubt minigun will have unlimited ammo range, but we will just have to wait for testing to see if it is better than twins or not :p

it seems like a noob weapon

i say that because i see like a lot of the recruits privates etc... use it

They use it because it's cheap and available. When I first started I thought smokey was trash because it was the first turret available. Big mistake.

You misunderstand. I was talking about why recruits and privates used it. Not gismos.

I like Smokey M2, but M1 got outclassed by WO5 and it takes ages to get M2. So you see a long range without smokies.
