Twins is very strong on short range maps but not long range map

Of course. That is a given. However, I would add to that post that at lower ranks (up to major) twins can excel more. It is also good at higher ranks but only on stronger hulls such as Titan and Mammoth else you go in with twins and lets say Hornet, and you can only get about 7 bullets out b4 u have 2 re-new health or get blown 2 bits by some hidden tanker.

..........Please don't use mammoth, I feel like everyone would hate you. 

Everyone does hate you if you use mammoth - you just sit there on the flag shooting enemies and your surrounded by isidas healing u and the other team cant capture and all rage quit - everyone may hate you but hey - you get the battle fund :D

Twins kicks out a suprising amount of damage at M0, although I find it hard to understand why anybody uses it. It's tricky to handle, as the shots are slow and hard to land on a hornet or wasp (although I'm not experienced at using it, I find thunder to be a more effective mid-ranger).

Twins is one of the OP M0s but it's so cheap >_>

I have to agree with Wiki-Gob on this one.  It is just too OP.  That coupled with the fact that most Twins users have their thumbs permanently glued to the space bar just makes a bad situation worse.  I would rather listen to someone killing cats than listen to that never ending NOISE.  And NO ... I will not turn my SOUND OFF.

I usually put a brick on my spacebar. Makes M1 twins faster.

Twins RIP 

I fully MUed my twins and it can only destroy another twins if they are less MUed

If you use twins facing vulcan even at short range then vulcan wins over twins so easily even if that vulcan is not MUed !

Smoky, rico, all guns can win over twins providing that all using no paints ... do the tests and see it yourself ..

while twins unlocks at a higher rank than vulcan so this advertisement for vulcan i hope it will be over soon because the game is totally unbalanced ..

 

Beside Semyon said in one of the V-Logs that twins will get a faster fire rate when you MU the range, well it never changes, i fully MUed all its parameters apart from the impact force, and yet it shoots at the same rate .. too slow too sluggish 

 

People feel that twins is good only at its m1 and 2 when compared to other m2 guns .. only .. but at its m3 and m4 then its nearly useless even for those who think they would be using viking with twins to do maneuvers .. not working as well ..

I have m3 and on some maps it owns others it sucks just like all weapons. The most annoying thing about twins is noobs who leave their finger on the spacebar!. It is no more boring than any other weapon if you use it on its strongest maps and use it wisely

Twins is a short range gun, Vulcan is a long range gun .. so how comes that at close encounter of twins m4 vs vulcan m3 then vulcan wins? 

I did these tests many times .. always vulcan wins even without being MUed at both short and long range against twins .. also vulcan can keep aiming after the other tanks accurately unlike twins that it loses its target if you dont keep moving your tank 

 

Beside 

Developers !  you said that twins fire rate will increase when we MU its range but it didn't happen !

 Damage of Twins when Mued it changes from (11.1-13.1 → 13-15) (/projectile, while each bullet of Vulcan before MU = (59.7 → 70)/ second so how does that make sense !! it means nearly the same damage of thunder but / second !

and its the same at all range with Vulcan, as Vulcan m3 without MUs can destroy twins m4 at both short and long ranges ! 

However since developers want to advertise for their new products, i don't know, its their own world they do what they like.. Hh

Twins beats Vulcan at close-range because it is supposed to circle around it while shooting non-stop. But if you just sit there shooting in front of the Vulcan while it is shooting directly at you, then there is no way you can out-damage it, especially since most Twins use Hornets while most Vulcans use Mammoths.

 

Twins is also better in close-range overall than Vulcan, because Twins has a much faster rotation and has no gyroscopic effect, while Vulcan has trouble hitting a single shot the closest the target is.

you are right, but tactics is not the issue in here, vulcan can do much better tactics than twins as well , there are very few maps where twins can go into such fast rotation . when we measure we must use the most commonly used maps like polygon, silence, island, arena .. etc 

the matter in here is that twins was supposed to be the strongest face to face weapon and not vulcan . 

 

Beside lets suppose taking the perfect map for twins to do that rotation, in case of using mammoth, titan and dictator then thats nearly impossible due to their big sizes and the slow speed..

while using viking and below tanks, then before they will be doing their ballet dance they will be dead before they will be able to spin around the vulcan as it can follow them 1/4 cycle and thats enough to terminate these hulls..

I have faced a Mammoth-Vulcan with my Mammoth-Twins. When we fire each other, we dead at the same time!

But it will change. :(

I have to find something to make twins effectiver than vulcan.

Yes man You can drg like reazy and buy special super expensive paint :)

it works.

All game is aim in spending money - money talks.

After rebalance twins is dangerous at low rank.now at high rank it is useless

Yes they are OP very much at low ranks.

True.

 

 

But as it is said on blog about hammer.

They not OP - You do not have a paint :)

Spend crystal on ROCK and around 50% protection is in use.

Than it is ok.

well i still remember i defeted a m3 viking with my m0 twins and i kept shooting it for 20 secs too hard time .....lol :P  and he was fighting for gold box and i was going to get gold but got kill ed my another m0 twins .....what a coincedence  :rolleyes:
