The impact of Twins (Vulcan too for that matter) in addition to the turret's other characteristics make it kinda OP IMO. Even with a medium hull, tanks in the receiving end struggle just to course correct much less get their own shot off.

But the other guns have far more effective shots.

So twins (after losing power) are now the least effective gun, overall.

Can't agree with this. Sure taking Twins onto Berlin or Düsseldorf is not wise, but any short map or a map with decent cover ensures close range combat. Put twins in a medium hull and you're sure to survive Rail and Thunder attacks long enough to do them in. Especially when noobs try to snuggle. Edited by austen_pierce

In my opinion is twins the most over-powered turret in game. I cannot beat twins m2 with any short range turret M2 and twins is mid-range not short range. When I am using hornet M3 and twins M3 with double damage come near me most of the time I am dead before I rotate my turret on enemy.

Whenever I use Twins I find it irritating that I cannot leave a fight without taking damage unless I use drugs (and yes, I know you can't just leave a fight without taking damage in return but it is obviously possible and is something that I practice all the time). However, when I encounter Twins I find it extremely hard to keep steady and get an accurate shot on the player. My opinion is that Twins is a very powerful weapon that can take you to the top, when PROPERLY used. I do not use twins myself but I have had experience with it but I prefer Ricochet as my weapon of choice.

Same when attacked from behind with Fire, Freeze, and Isida. Any continuous fire weapon kills before a turret rotates a full 180

Yes, but these turrets are short range. How can mid range turret be good on short range like freeze ? When I use freeze M2 with Hornet M3  and twins/ Vikng M2 starts attacking me from behind I can rotate my turret on him but I will die. When there is same situation but Smoky M2 will starts attacking me I will lose more than half of health but I will survive. Same for short range maps like arena : Dominating weapons are Fire, Freeze and Twins. Twins users have strong advantage because twins is good same for maps like arena and Serpuhov. Users of fire or freeze cannot be playing same as mid and long range weapons there. And what about mammoth/twins ? If someone is using it with supplies in Polygon CP he is absolutely unbeatable. I played with one guy that was using Mammoth/Twins M2 and still had activated Double Damage, Double Armor and Repair Kit. After 60 minutes battle he had score 4500 and second best score was 3150. Guy with second best score was drugging too with combo dictator/thunder M2. He was drugging almost same than guy with best score. There you can see that difference between two druggers was 1350 POINTS ! If that Mammoth had fire, freeze, thunder or something else, his score could be 3500 or something like that, but with twins he was killing everyone really fast because of no reloading and he had great position because if we need to get point we need to fight him. Every time when we were on point we needed 4 druggers to kill him ( They were using only DD and DA not repair kits ). So this is why I think that twins is more strong than it should be

Agreed... I hear you on the powerful combo of mammy and twins with drugs. But I don't follow that being an absolute dominant while camping on Polygon CP. All it takes even at close range is a couple of firebirds to toast his marshmallows. And if he's really camping on the capture point that tells me the opposing team did not have their act together. The single point in that map is a convergence zone... No one lasts more than ten or twenty seconds there. I believe you on the score discrepancy, but can only conclude that the opposing team was afraid of him, resulting in lone wolf approaches which obviously won't work against a heavy hull on drugs. That's not how to play CP.

Erik, use a sniper tank from a distance against the mammoth twins = problem solved

(as long as you have a teammate either healing you or defending you from attacks, the twins can't reach)

Don't forget that they had 8 players like we had. So if we have 3 players focused on mammoth they still have 7 more players playing against 5. They weren't bad players, they just had mammoth/twins with drugs what was giving them big advantage.

Thats a main goal.

Probably this is a reason why anty cheat and saboteur mult mechanizm are still in "protres"

 

It is good for tanki economy, all need drag to compeet vs illegal techniks, so in fair fight you have no chance.

 

The same as with tanki economy reducing mission  profits.

 

At the end of day it is all about the economy... mean money.

With draging all weapons are effective, this is plague and it is good for tanki economy.

People must buy crystal to buy suplies to fight in unfair fight.

 

Twins do not work any more propertly.

Hamerr is OP very much. Same as Vulcan.

But who cares, it is new weapon, nad must be sold in game.

 

Good for tanki economy.

Consume.

tanki developers take a siede clearly - the most problem is that You did not drag, and bad paint...

Yes.

Simply mass destruction weapon with range ability,

to solve a problem of repair kit.

 

Sudden Death technology.

Kil Him at once.

 

FOcus fire and enemy is history, he lose suplies, score

and it is good for tanki ecenomy he need buy new, and spend on this more than he earn in battle.

 

Thats is very good for tanki economy and fore destroying draging tactice.

True - and center win...

And i find opinion in game that dragers are impotents.

There should be done some science work about this, becouse meaby there is some pathology around this technik of game. People hate them very much and probably it have take a result on theirs health.

 

Interesting, do tanki take some research about it?

Just as boring to use as Isidia, IMO. 

 

In my opinion, this weapon is powerful BUT boring, and that is why I don't want to waste my crystals on it. You maybe know that I want to get every weapon M2, but in fact, no - every weapons except Twins.

Twins is easy target. Before You meet him he is eliminated

 

Beat easily Mammoth with double armor, double damage and hiding isida with double damage near him. It's not as easy as you say

 

Man, so all team was stroneg draging + tactic

They weren't all drugging, they had 3-4 Druggers

1. Mammoth/Twins

2. Dictator/Thunder

3. Viking/Isida

These guys were drugging still. But Mammoth/Twins with DD wasn't giving chance when his teammates damaged us while he was hiding. I never said that we weren't killing him but that twins killed 3-4 players from our team and his teammates just finished us ( we weren't using repairs ). If that mammoth had weapon like freeze ( that are needed to reload ) he could be dead really soon. 

+ I forgot to say that he was using loam paint ( good fire protection ) and probably he was big buyer because when we changed turrets he changed paint to have protection against the most of our weapons

Thanks but not quite.

I noticed that Daily Missions had resulted in a far higher amount of cheaters.

The Hackers and Saboteurs now had the crystals/supplies to drug in addition to their cheating.

I guess most cheaters cannot afford to buy crystals, so Daily Missions ended up with more unfair play.
