Twins

 

Pros - Constant shooting, high damage per second, fast rotation speed, good impact and not too much recoil on heavier hulls.

 

Cons - Slowest bullet speed, short range, damage decreases with distance, can be knocked off course and not the best down and up angles.

 

Hulls:

Wasp - Less used, low health so cant survive long enough to shoot for some time, can be fast enough to run around other players, recoil can flip wasp when in air. I rate it 5/10

 

Hornet - Can survive long enough to let out a good amount of damage, recoil can make hornet unstabble but better than wasp, still not enough health to make use of the constant firing. I rate it 6/10

 

Hunter - Good defense, recoil doesn't affect hunter too much, the speed is still fast enough for going for the flag but a bit too little health and not stable enough to defend, best at attack and midfield in ctf, not best for cp but good for tdm and dm. I rate it 8/10

 

Viking - Similar to hunter but less speed and only slightly more health, more stable so better for defense. Would also rate 8/10

Twins was my first turret in Tanki (after smoky ofcourse). It is good for beginners who do not know how to switch the turret. Plus that, you do not have to wait for the reload. It doesn't require any skill to use. 

I was glad to know that it is the second most used turret after rail.

Which is why ^ he is called a joker. As a joker he's making crap up.

 

 

Thats a main goal.

Probably this is a reason why anty cheat and saboteur mult mechanizm are still in "protres"

 

It is good for tanki economy, all need drag to compeet vs illegal techniks, so in fair fight you have no chance.

 

The same as with tanki economy reducing mission profits.

 

At the end of day it is all about the economy... mean money.

Reducing mission profits for players (ie/ Daily Missions' rewards) has decreased the amount of cheating by sabateurs and hackers.

twins m1 is still pretty effective against m2's, but now that i got twins m2- heheheheheheheheheheh. it totally dominates, especially on a medium hull.

Only good with hornet, in my opinion, with a good paint. My strategy is to circle the enemy while shooting. Still have m0, but if i happend to have enough crystals or if it's 50% off, I'll buy it. Annoying, though :P Railgun is still the best :D

Only good with hornet? Better with viking, titan and mammoth.

Newish to this game and i'm trying to figure out something that's not clear...to me at least. 

 

I am Warrant Officer 1 using Wasp M0 and Twins M0 but have been upgrading them regularly...some upgrades like Wasp protection I have maxed out. 

 

So my question are:

  1. if I keep upgrading until all the Wasp or Twins upgrades are maxed out...do I just get the M1 or do I still need to buy it? 
  2. I see now that i've maxed out some upgrades i'm being offered to buy M1 at a discount...is that cheaper than if I continue to update incrementally?  does the price come out the same?
  3. Also, whenever I do get the M1 version, do I need to start all over again with the upgrades till I reach or by M2 version? is it cheaper to save up crystals and buy it outright?

by "buy" I mean purchase using the crystals i've earned, not actual money.

 

thx in advance, now come and flip me back over!

Bad start, man. I started like you, microupgrading, best thing you can do now, is start a new account. I made lots of accounts before realizing that I shouldn't microupgrading stuff at m0.

 

Also your combo isn't that good, my brother was playing like this, when he was microupgrading too, and he finally get wasp m1 at warrant officer 3. Then he saw that after you buy the next modification of something the microupgrades reset.

So he started a new account, aiming to get just this combo but he found that there are others hulls that are better for twins (basically everything except wasp and hornet)

Thanks so much for taking the time to respond. Man, what a waste on my end all those crystals wasted. I really wish TI was more transparent about the upgrades being reset at m1, m2, m3... Thanks too for the tips about Wasp and Hornet. I knew those were weak going in so I don't feel that bad though.

Well I had to vote for it because its powerful but coming up against a twin in battle, I would get really annoyed because I feel twins M2 and above is the most OP turret just because it yields continuous damage and at or above that level its damage is too powerful as well. Either it has to have some sort of reloading time or gotta lower down its damage.

What is wrong whit u twins haters?! Yes, twins is 1 of the first turrets to be available, and so what. U start whit smokey, is it s weak gun? NO! smokey is very good. Is firebird weak? HELL NO! so, is twins weak and noob? OF COURSE IT IS NOT!!! Noob players use this gun cause its easy to use, but do they get 1 place? No they dont. Do i get 1 place whit twins? Yes i do. Cause i know how to use twins and believe me it aint easy to kill 2 firebirds at the same time 1 millisecond before they kill us, and i did it a few times. So u better shut yo ars up and try to understand that twins aint a noob turret.

 

Finally i said that. I feel so free rigth now. Sadly, the will always be a noob twins hater arroud here, forever

It is a noob gun. You don't even unlock it at the next rank! btw THIRD lieutenant I'm a colonel who uses fire isida and rail for battles. twins will help at lower ranks but at higher ranks u gotta drug. I beat twins with rail, and spell right next time ^_^. Also twins is for ppl like you, no skill.

Firebird can beat twins easy. Knock off aim? Impossible (for me that is :p) The damage increase per second and if twins kills me the buring damage always finishes him off. Twins sucks at close range sucks (when fighting friebird or freeze) at long range (Well u can't use at long range) and mid-range its damage is weak. So my point is... twins sucks. It's my opinion so don't be a hater. ^_^

Twins are very powerful and in battles like polygon CP, it's almost unbeatable.

However, playing with twins is sooooo boring..... <_<

If you face an enemy  team in Polygon CP with heavy hulled Vulcans, Twins and some helping Isidas...

better start to think about leaving soon. Almost unbeatable indeed.

 

Boring? After they chased every opponent from the battlefield,

they most likely have to take a nap till the end of the battle...

better start to think about leaving soon. Almost unbeatable indeed.

Leaving depends on team member activity. If they are willing to fight, then it's worth staying. The actual problem is when this team suddenly appear 20 to 30 mins before end game...

 

If you flee,you don't get to keep your hard earned crystals. But Losing teams tend to get little crystals anyway.

What would you have done?

 

The boring part may or may not be true. Depends from tanker to tanker.

Not worth the trouble.

If the fight was already going on and there is a substantial battlefund I stay ofcourse. Till the bitter end...

 

If you flee,you don't get to keep your hard earned crystals. But Losing teams tend to get little crystals anyway.

What would you have done? I don 't call it fleeing if you team gets or will get overwhelmed by OP combo 's.

I 'm fighting with a low armour Hornet and in teamfights there needs to be some balance to be able to put up a fight.

If I can get being attacked from two or three directions no skill will save me.

IMO fleeing is when you get outskilled and run, not if you leave because you get outnumbered and overwhelmed by OP combo 's.

 

The boring part may or may not be true. Depends from tanker to tanker. True ofcourse, some will enjoy it and don 't be bored.

Clearly coming from someone who hasn't used or gone up against m3 twins. When you rank up some more you'll meet more twins that you find hard to handle. A lot of people drug, and if you have twins and drug back, you stand a good chance of winning that battle.

Clearly coming from someone who hasn't used or gone up against m3 twins. When you rank up some more you'll meet more twins that you find hard to handle. A lot of people drug, and if you have twins and drug back, you stand a good chance of winning that battle.

False.This depends on Team mates, unless it's a DM. Having M3 Twins and drugging back doesn't secure a 100% victory.

 

But I agree that the chances of victory is much higher.
