Good points, Previously I thought of getting twins, until I realized that you can't use both alterations of twins simultaneously, but one advantage is that twins alterations are cheap, Ricochet does not have self damage and 1 m1 and 1 m2 alteration which means you can use both simultaneously, but ricochet m2 alteration is 100k (which is expensive.

I can get stable plasma during sale but I plan on getting rico m2.

Ricochet with alt is like a more powerful version of smoky. It can fire long range and deal a lot of damage AND have good impact force. Twins deals a huge amount of damage but it's range is much shorter.

When I started the game, I mainly used Twins because I liked its infinite ammo. However, I was getting overshadowed by turrets like thunder and vulcan, so I stopped using it for 2 years. Now I am buying the M1 because I saw how good it was on other players. My Twins is currently 9/10 M0 and it has raised my K/D from 0.85 to 0.87

I honestly think twins is a lot more powerful but ricochet is possibly better on larger maps because of the range.

Besides what @ghost-guns said above, I personally would always choose Rico over twins, but only because my keyboard is a ghosted keyboard. If your keyboard is a gaming keyboard (meaning you can press more than 3 keys at once), then simply jusge depending on your preferred maps. I think there are many more large maps usually, so I'd go for rico, but if you play mainly shorter maps, twins can do wonders ;)

Yep, tried it some time back, but my fingers got very achy the next day.. xD I'll get used to it eventually after a couple more hours :p

Hold your horses. He's just an attention seeker, nothing special in terms of skill, but you did quite well in that battle.

I've just noticed that Twins is theoretically stronger in battles with MU enabled in the maps I play mainly because of the protection modules. A high % of protection (due to a high number of MUs) will make turrets like Rico or Fire run short of ammo quite soon. But Twins? Never. It just won't stop shooting.

Yes protection is just a few seconds extra if you  are facing twins, very OP.

Ok Iran is definitely a good map for twins. On Iran and Gravity I always have good results with twins.

Twins works best in DM mode because you can unleash everything you have without having to reload.

6 heavy protections in such a big map isnt too much to not be able to do really well,especially for a turret like twins. Besides, 2 of those heavy twins modules look like they joined late

10+ heavy protections is when it gets annoying and I have to change imo.

If he had rail, I bet there would be like at least 15 modules 25% and up

Yes to both - I have 5 MUs on twins and the second place was Twins M4.

Bought twins this sale ^_^ Quite impressed, seems a lot better than I thought! I'd definitely recommend it, and its not that hard to get used to, though you need to constantly be careful of the self damage, I'm still not used to it xD

How come you didn't buy the alteration that eliminates self-damage ?

In my opinion, buying both alterations is a must to any twins user.

Perhaps not both alterations, only the no self damage one. I only find the long range alt useful in maps with long sight lines.

Even in medium range maps, if you shorten the engagement distance, then tbe extra dps offered by the no splash alt is very useful, as well as eliminating the risk of damaging yourself.
