I'm not sure if I should get ram or minotoar, which is better?

Depends on what you wanna do with the twins. If you want to be a fast paced attack, capping flags and moving around the map, then of course minotaur.

If you play a lot of Poly CP, or island games, or prefer defending/covering one area of the map, go for Ram.

Both are great kits, you wont be disappointed with either. I have experience with Minotaur on my 2nd account.

Perhaps not both alterations, only the no self damage one. I only find the long range alt useful in maps with long sight lines.

Even in medium range maps, if you shorten the engagement distance, then tbe extra dps offered by the no splash alt is very useful, as well as eliminating the risk of damaging yourself.

How come you didn't buy the alteration that eliminates self-damage ?

In my opinion, buying both alterations is a must to any twins user.

Congrats though :P

Thanks guys. Was wondering if was useful to buy that alteration

The stable plasma is an absolute must for me.  Getting rid of the splash damage is a real blessing and turns Twins into a beast.  So yeah, go for the pricey stable plasma.

Now, i need some input.  How about the other alteration...the long distance one.  It seems like you would shoot faster (cool) and farther.  In the new revamped maps (like Highland) my impression is that heavy hulls/long range turrets seem to win the day.  Maybe the 1st alt (far damage) for Twins might restore Twins to the beast they were before the new maps.

Anyone have first hand knowledge of this alteration?  I guess you get the splash damage back since you can't use them in tandem.

Ideas?

You shoot slower but the shots travel faster and travel longer.

It is definitely useful on medium range maps, but Highland has many close range encounters, so I would not recommend it for Highland.

It is suitable on something like Bobruisk, Desert or Future, where there are longer sightlines.

Thanks.  Have you used it? Do you think it is worth 50000 crystals?  Stable Plasma is definitely worth 50K and for me is a "must have".  50K buys a lot of DD and repair kits.

Guys, this sale I'm willing to buy viking and a turret, but I can't decide which to buy: Twins or Thunder?

I wanna know which is the best m2? Which one do less people have protection against? Which is better without drugs? etc.

Really would appreciate any help.

I would like to disagree with everyone who is against twins, because they seem more problematical than any other turrets but sometimes it share's other weakness. Yes people who just keep shooting constantly with twins are annoying but for me as a twin user its much more complicated as it seems. For example: Thunder takes damage during close combat (so can twins), Rail gun can knock off your opponent (so can twins, only when they are on a ramp and the enemy is on the platform). Twins are not meant for closed range battle (even though it says that, it really isn't) Twins are only made for mid range battle due to it's mini splash damage. Twins may be annoying but its actually the user who uses them is annoying. I use twins but I don't really keep shooting the enemy non-stop. I usually just take cover and shoot, like people with rail guns do <_<(don't know why? :D). I believe that Twins can have many advantages in battle but can also have the same amount of disadvantages. That's my opinion . If you guys want to tell I'm wrong then so be it. I would defend twins cuz I think they're pretty cool.

I am totally not against u

But it does depends on the map, your playing on

Any twins player will probably buy the alt to stop the splash dmg.

I play twins on my alt too.

Twins

In my opinion one of the best turrets you can actually buy youll get a good DL and really quick xp especially if you use this turret with viking rather than hornet also if you have drugs your unstopable at m2 this thing is OP

I RECOMMEND ITTTT

the twins the most OP turret and magnum too, if you dont nerfed this two turrets, you can delete other turret, because other turerets dont have any chance against it, and i dont want to hear your stupid arguments, you are so noobs, delete stupid twins, this weapon only ruining this game. Nope. P2W game.

For beginners twins are so good. You will always sit at 1st place.

Not always.  I have Twins M2 10/10 and have just spent a game in Kungur being repeatedly absolutely mullered by a Wasp Rail.

It means that Twins Hornet is a bad combo to use on Kungur . . .

Twins Hornet is a bad combo to use on any map with that Wasp Rail.

Kungur wasn't the issue - he'd have still been a PITA on any map.

My point was M2 10/10 with DD and he still one-shotted me a few times even though I landed a few hits on him but not enough to kill.

Definitely going Viking M3, as you can't depend on Twins alone.

Upgrades shou

ld

be given on the basis of merit, in my opinion. I've been playing this game for years with just an M1 and playing against noobs with

M2's

I've got twins at 5/20 with stable plasma, but I never use it. Ever since tanki moved maps like noise to pro battles, I haven't had any use for my titan-twins combo. It is OK with viking, but I find fire/freeze/isida much easier to use and therefore more reliable.

I have used twins effectively against most other tanks, and I have considered purchasing m2 multiple times.

However, I have found that its aim is knocked off quite a bit by turrets with high impact such as twins, ricochet, and sometimes smoky.

Has anyone else experienced this problem with twins, or do I just have inept skills. Thank you

Now that I think about it, the problem may be that I can only press two keys on my computer at once.
