Why all fights must be so close ? Thеn short range guns are the best? I see these days in DM smoky-titan is always on first places.

Well, Titans-Twins is not designed for long range - so it will certainly look for close-up battle.

Any turret can be at top of score in any battle due to many variables...

- Rank (better equipment)

- useful protection for that particular battle

- MUs

- willingness to use > supplies

- Skill - certainly has an effect

- map = luck of the draw

I'm sure I have seen smky in first place occasionally, but certainly not always. If I had to pick one of those two combos to fight each other I'm picking the Titan-Twins.

then, viking-twins or titan-smoky, what you will prefer?

it's getting closer, as the Viking maneuverability comes more into play vs twins slower plasma shots.

Oddly enough, can't recall the last time I saw a Viking-Twins combo...

I see them all the time. I suppose it is just because a lot of people, myself included, buy Minotaur.

Twins is the most hardest turret to use.

Its harder than striker.

You really need some skills to use it.

Seriously ?

have you tried striker ?

Its harder than striker.= Lol

There is nothing harder than mastering Strikers single shots

probable you always used the salvos

Twins need less skill than most turrets

If you know how to press 1,2,3 & Space , you have the skills to use twins

I see lots of viking twins, but definitely would hate facing a titan smoky more. Just my opinion. There is no doubt that twins is a pain to face on almost any map and any mission. Not so true with other turrets.

If you're not using this thing with viking, you're kidding yourself. I switched from Hornet M1 to Viking M1 and get twice the kills and sometimes (on TDM) carry the team. Recommendable.

Go to a legend rank battle and see the resluts

Titan/Mamy is more better for Twin's

Try Smoky or Rico with your viking

I play with M3s in DMs and almost always finish first with Twins/Viking

All you need is the alteration, and a BUNCH of Double Damages

It's kinda normal, since Vicking have almost twice the armor of the hornet at your rank! :P

And ... of repair kits

Which alteration? If you mean stable plasma, I can say that it is absolutely not necessary. If someone gets close enough to you for that to have effect, you are using Twins badly. Anyone should be long dead before they get close to you, especially with double damage. I find the splash damage useful, I get double kills quite often with it, as crazy as it sounds. If you mean the PCA alt, I get that. On some maps it is required to do well with Twins, though smaller ones are better with the faster reload.

Repair kits are obv important, but from my experience, one can do well without them

Yes, it's the same with every turrets! Double damages are a must, and the other supplies are just a plus, but it's not obligatory! :)

Exactly, that is correct

But in some big maps the long range one will be benificial if you are using a heavy hull

I am using 47% protection against Twins and I don't feel it's giving me any advantage.

This thing shouldn't be this powerful if you look at the skill level it takes to operate;

Ah well, it's good when they're on my team.. they are effective and every fool knows how to put some dead weight on their spacebar.
