I am using 47% protection against Twins and I don't feel it's giving me any advantage.

This thing shouldn't be this powerful if you look at the skill level it takes to operate;

Ah well, it's good when they're on my team.. they are effective and every fool knows how to put some dead weight on their spacebar.

Lol , that is why all guys go for twins

Yes , imagine a m4 twins in ASL blue base supported by a Isida

The only way to cap is get a m4 magnum and rain lead on thier defenders

Which alteration? If you mean stable plasma, I can say that it is absolutely not necessary. If someone gets close enough to you for that to have effect, you are using Twins badly. Anyone should be long dead before they get close to you, especially with double damage. I find the splash damage useful, I get double kills quite often with it, as crazy as it sounds. If you mean the PCA alt, I get that. On some maps it is required to do well with Twins, though smaller ones are better with the faster reload.

No one's gonna be a sitting duck while you're using the PCA alt. And the twins splash damage does more harm than it helps. Very rarely will you see players be within 4 to 8 meters of each other.

I have the STP alt because I already have a turret with the splash damage ability.

Yes the splash is good to kill a mass of players, but once you are camping in the middle you're getting self-damaged so I think the alteration is worth it.

Yes that is a pain , all you need is the alt and a brick

Exactly, just like in the good old days of Tanki! :P  Remember when Tanki changed the twins... Twins was officially controversial, but since they putted alteration, it became the same old good gun as we all love!

Well, no one needs to be. It still has a higher DPM than Rico, and no other turret will even come close. Its not like you magically become a camper while using it, you use Twins the same way but with a Ton of extra range. That extra range comes in handy on some maps were just a few extra meters helps. Currently PCA is the only Twins alteration I have.

I haven't bought stable plasma, and most likely won't. I very rarely am affected by self damage, as like I said, most players are dead before they get close enough for it to take effect. And I get double kills in normal battles, not just old Polygon CP. I think you also lose knock back with stable plasma, which is not helpful at all.

You mean I lose the splash impact force. And yes I know it's useful for when your hull is on its side. But I'm using Viking since its the only m2 hull I got, and well, let's if my hull were to be on its side, it would've been too late for me to correct it since the sides of Viking are quite thin.

Viking is too numb to take hits it gets turned very easily

Hornet does a better job taking impact from turrets imo

I wasn't talking about that, even with the splash impact I can't flip my Viking back over. TBH I was just repeating something someone else had said regarding impact.

like every turret have matter where you use it and how, without drugs is not so powefull. Below marshall and lower ranks you can do very good with twins, after this twins start diyng for some reasons :D

So after marshal you  need to get a Brick & a lodas of DD

I honestly don't understand the constant talk of a brick for Twins. Good luck playing well with that strategy.

Okay so what kind of skill is there left? When or when not to hold the spacebar?

With a brick you cant turn your turret well

More like if I hold down the spacebar my keyboard ghosts and I can't turn or turn my turret. I also would go crazy from the constant noise, and the enemy would always know exactly where I am. I also would be unable to prevent frequent self damage.

Is your keyboard ghosting also a reason to use Twins?

No. I simply use it because it gets results. As soon as I rank to colonel, I will mostly play xp/bp. I also intend to start using smoky again at the same time.

Everything, in normal battles (matchmaking) everyone is full drug forever. Probably do missions and after go on pro battles or just don`t play more for this day. And drug is forever enough for this.
