It also removes the small skill aspect remaining with Twins. I'd like stable plasma removed from the game and replaced with an alt that greatly increases the splash radius

that would actually be extremely interesting, but stable plasma is in all honesty need most of the time when people just ram in to you cause they know you will die from self damage

I used twins very effectively without it for about 90 hours. Though I just bought stable plasma on tankers day and have to admit I use it more than I expected.

The most of the Twins i see on battles are the usual Brick type with all supplies active

But still i have met some good player's also 

Who know how to use the Supplies effectively

And in Twin's case it is the main skill needed  :ph34r:

I feel like it's the opposite. I have 41% twins protection and it doesn't help much, but I have 30% rico protection and that is more noticable.

The reason Rico protection is more noticeable in game play (as well as Isida, Freeze, Firebird) is that it has a limited energy supply. Twins will keep blasting away and it's rate of damage will NEVER decrease:( If you have enough Rico protection to survive 10-12 shots, its reload speed is so much slower you can usually finish them off. That's one reason thunder, smoky, and twins can seem OP. They consistently lay out damage at a predictable rate without running out of ammo.

 

Hope that makes sense some.

It has self damage at all upgrade levels. Upgrading won't remove it. You have to buy the Stable Plasma alteration to remove it.

So when I buy the alterations for m1 twins, when I buy m2 will that alteration go ? Or will the m1 alteration sayy with the m2 twins?

When you buy the higher modification level you will keep the alteration that you bought before and you will be able to use this alteration in the higher level as well.

So I can have an M0 alt (although those don't exist yet), an M1 alt, an M2 alt, and an M3 alt (those also don't exist yet) equipped at the same time; but I can't have two M1 alts at the same time, or 2 M2 alts...you get the point.

I honestly don't think that m3 alts are ever gonna exist. But you never know, tanki devs are notoriously known for changing their original plans. :ph34r:

Yeah, they might even come up with an alteration that allows you to use multiple alterations.

Or a drone that unlocks all the alterations temporarely.. boy do the developers love that word.

Everyone thinks twins are op because people who use them spam drugs. Ricochet dominates twins. I have m2 twins with 5 upgrades but when I hit enemies I do the damage of a m0 unless I'm close enough to damage myself. how does 188 damage go down to 120 or even 39 when someone has double armor on? unless you spam drugs twins are completely useless. ricochet can kill my m2 hornet in 3 shots wtf... magnum can insta kill my titan m2 so can shaft. the terrible rebalance and the handing out of drugs to every player has completely ruined this game.

Well since we have mission rewards as supplies, containers and weekly rewards, everyone does spam drugs.

 

So yes, twins is OP because it squeezes every second out of DD.

 

Only time Ricco beats twins is when Ricco has some other advantage - either heavier hull, more MUs or better protection.

 

Twins is only OP if it has the stable plasma alteration. I only buy twins if I think I can also get the alteration, otherwise can just forget about it.
