Over time, I've become aware of the advantages of the short-range weapons of tanki: freeze, fire, and isida. 

 

Put any of these on a fast hull, a wasp or hornet, and you have a really formidable weapon.

Same thing happened to me. Only the Isida stays excluded: would use it though if I would have problems with getting to sleep! :D

 

Yes, first play Freeze.

Later from the M2 upgrade on, the Firebird makes a nice return from the ashes and both are fine!

(Firebirds tend to do that, it is in their nature... :) )

 

Get a Wasp or Hornet and let the fun begin.

 

I was a fool to not take the short-range weapons serious when I started to play TO!

 

Also although I may personally do not like the Isida, I am not saying it is bad weapon.

On the contruary, very strong at M2!

A Good thing to do against druggers using Wasp-Freeze or Hornet-Freeze:

1st step: you see him, RUN!!

2nd step: try to get 2 or more druggers together on your trail.. When they get together, they fight most of the time(unless they're in a drug alliance and decide to destroy you together).

3rd step: just watch until only one drugger is left, and then CHARGE(unless they're firebirdies, don't waste your fuel)!!!

4th step: destroy the drugger and you win!

I always kill M2 Vikings in 2 shoots with my Rail. And it is not MUed.

 

Well said. You made me want to try this combo again, I only tried it in Polygon DM and it works average, as Thunders and Rails always shoot you, thinking that you're an easy target.

I almost wish I bought Corrosion instead of Ceder... When MUed, Corrosion is pretty good.

meh but shaft is not used really often and thunder is too OP at lower ranks and drugged. Plus it takes a lot of money to upgrade corrison fairly good.

What I said was true. I never had to shoot three times for a Viking. Maybe you had to, but it never happened to me. Never said it wasn't possible.

Freeze one of the best weapons, close to twins. Its especially annoying with hornet -.- though if you meet inferno and big tanks its difficult to kill especially if your not m3

M2 freeze is a bit mediocre, it is good up until about Major general/Lieutenant general and then it starts to get a bit underpowered. I would suggest that if you're getting M2, plan on getting it M3 so that is won't be a waste of crystals.

I just bought Freeze M2 today.  It is decently effective in maps like Combe, and others.  In close range maps, like Island, it is very effective.  
For Island CTF I use Titan M2+Freeze M2.  Sometimes there are a lot of protective paints, but freezing enemies can really help your team at times.  For those who are in my way and have a paint such as Inferno, I can just freeze them, then push them off the edge.  So for short range battles with cliffs, Freeze goes well with Mammoth, Titan, and Viking, since they have power.  For longer ranges, like Combe or other CTF matches, it's good with light hulls.

You can really annoy your enemies by driving around them as you freeze them.  It stops them from shooting you, and you are able to let your Freeze charge back up to start attacking the enemy again.

Different protection, but it is better in terms of amounts. Hohloma has about 20% on each but Corrosion has 15% against 2 and 10% against 1.

If you max MU Hohloma it will be very good.

freeze is the best in map"hill" caz its distance can reach half of the width in the map.
