I liked freeze but after the update it is useless and not worth the money, fire is better only if u have m2 or later. 

Try MU'ing firebird m1 afterburn to max... it's a beast.. :DD

I have the flame paint. It's sposed to be good against freeze, but it's really not. They should improve the effectiveness of paints, or what's the point?

Which paint are you referring to? 

The point of paints is to give you a certain amount of protection from certain weapons.

You're using a weak hull, Hornet, which is the problem.

My experiences with new freeze.

close range damage is good, as it should be, hull does not slow down much, only when being hit, as soon as burst is over hull gets back to full speed, the annoying thing is turret seems to be frozen for a very long time, Too long in my oppinion, it seems to last for a good minute to minute and a half

I would get the Isida.

 

Freeze gameplay is now focused on getting really close and best to ram into your opponent to stop him from turning his hull.

Also Freeze is only 100% effective on 5 Meter distacnce (about the lenght of a wasp or hornet). Isida on the other side has full power over the whole range (see this graph http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=177143&page=93&do=findComment&comment=4616012)

 

So if you can make use of Isidas range the 20degree cone is "ok" and you deal in average more damage, while the self healing keeps you up and running after the attack.

 

 

The last update really made freeze a very unatractive weapon (and I was a heavy freeze user)

Yesterday I played a game 7vs7 where I had a freeze/hunter and a freeze/viking as my opponents. I usually gave them one railshot beforehand, got frozen but the effect is poor.. and then I managed to survive until my rail has reloaded and finish them off. My wasp had no issue with that.. and the hornets would have neither.

 

They only killed me when they managed to get really 100% close (I was distracted by others) or if I had some damage in advance by other tanks.

The Isisday in this battle gave me harder times due to their range.

Fancy text colors does not make your rating more true.

If you will play against more skillfull players, you will learn that the new freeze parameters simply made this gun much much weaker then it was.

 

 

Is the Freeze iwis will be improved?

what is an "iwis"?

The freeze was made weaker.

I have no ideas what the dev's plan to change with the freeze.

 

At the moment my freeze just catches dust in the garage and I will not spend crystals on upgrading it.

freeze is a bit boring to use,not a fan of short ranged weapons thought(i like isida very much,but it gets boring after a while)

the only gun which i always enjoyed to the max to use is the superb thunder xD

Though Freeze deals less damage at longer ranges, opponents are exposed longer so they are frozen more :) The same with Firdbird features

it does not take long to accomodate to fight back a freeze with a froozen turret.. I managed to killed enough viking freezers the last weeks, with my rail (and I expect it to be much easier with rico, twins, fire). Most of them fire to early or keep a too large distance - and so run out of energy. While they reload I place a second railshot and the freezer turns into exploding snowflakes ;)

 

 

The only freezers that are frequently successfull, are those that ram into me.

Then I always think "take the kill. It is a gift.. so they get some revenue out of that now so boring freeze gameplay :("

umm , i use freeze freeze and hornet m3 , I discoverred one think - u guys are right Its a short ranged now but one thing that I love if the others dont have firebird or isida  , its to attack with aim that whole team turret will be freeze , I dont thinnk of dmg done and all but my aim makes my team easy to kill them and easy flagging

Yes, the short ranged turrets are more for support for your team when they go in for objectives. Fire with the burn, Freeze with the freeze, and Isida for the healing. They aren't meant for destruction, but they do fairly well at it too. The turrets that are REALLY meant for destruction are the others.
