only thing i don't like in titan is its shape the rest is fine :)

I've taken a liking to the shape of titan after the new physics... Its a nice form which seems to help it push other tanks around :)

i love titan because u can push any tank around and it is faster than mammoth and there is barely any difference in hp compared to mammoth

I brought Titan M1 in the New Years Sale 2013 but I thought that I should use it. However, I need to know which GUN goes well with it.

Just finished a nice DM. Wanted to rank up ánd earn some crystals on this Hijo-de-Puta account to be able to buy a discounted Wasp M1 to practice railgunning.

With the combo Titan M1 - Smoky M1, I pretty much succeeded.... :D

Entered the battle with some more lower ranks, halfway it became a real WO-game... :)

 

Freeze Sanek1616 and myself formed a good team: teamwork in DM always is a benefit!

Also no drugs (besides the occassional mine..) as always! Just full drugs at Goldboxtime, this time no luck with the too slow Titan.

 

Ofcourse i had lots of fun, but the lack of speed of the Titan compared to my Viking M1 let alone Viking M2 (hullkit) is staggering!

Still the HP of the Titan is awesome and it's a hell of a lot more manouvrable than the Mammoth. After the NP the Titan IMHO is no more the king, but it's still a good tank and certainly well suited for this Map.

 

And about Smoky: I do not even want to get started...... :wub:

 

(By the way the number one was a Mammoth M1 with a Freeze M2. Wow, that Freeze M2 is deadly! He played really well with this slow combo, but in my favour: he drugged quite a bit too) :rolleyes:

Yeah, I personally love Titan, as I have it m1 on my alt acc. I MU it sometimes, in areas that I see are important (Armor, Weight, and Power). I also did a test with a friend of mine and we found out that Titan is stronger than Mammoth. It cannot push Mammoth mfrom the side, but head to head it comes out victorious. Titan is OP now, so anyone who uses it, please use it to your advantage.

I have M1 Mammoth and M1 Titan. Which one should I eventually get M2? I was originally going to get Mammoth M2, but after the update I'm not sure.

BTW - I mainly use Thunder M1 (M2 soon)

If you want more speed and a more balanced game go Titan

If you want a mobile fortress go Mammoth

Overall it is up to you and your gameplay style

Well, the purple paint is the Helper paint which gives 18% protection against all turrets: "a unique paint that protects its owner from all types of weapons. It is only issued to the best helpers of the project. For them Tanki Online is more than just a game."

I think titan sucks,it may be ably to push a mammoth now but the speed it has is just so lame yes mammoth has slower speed but lets  just say titan cant keep up

If you can spare the 6100 crystals I would definetely go for the Titan M1, you 'll enjoy

the extra speed and even more so the much faster acceleration (=power)! B)

 

And all of that with only a small 8 HP less than the Mammoth M1...... :)

Actually, MU isn't really worth it unless you have an M3 item, then you can MU that item.

Do not agree at all.

 

For example: I am fighting with a practice account WO1 at the moment. With a Viking M1 - Thunder M0.

 

When I had the Viking M0 I barely MU 'd it, because at WO1 you already get the M1 (early upgrade = less or no MU).

So I saved my crystals for future MU 'ing of the Viking M1, because it is a loooong way to Viking M2.

The only thing of the Viking M1 I will MU quite a lot is the HP, that really counts and is worth it!

 

Even more so on the Thunder M0! If you MU only the damage of this gun at an early stage

and you are good enough, you will easily earn back the crystals you spend!

I have the damage on 48 - 65.4 ( clean M0 = 40 - 55 ) , which is not that far away from the M1: 53 - 72.... :)

 

The difference of a MU 'd Thunder M0 vs a "clean" M0 is huge! I like to join battles to the rank of WO4.

At WO4 the first Thunders M1 (still without Cedar....) start to appear and when they see a WO1 with a Thunder M0,

they probably think: "that is an easy target, nice....."

Not knowing that easy target has some "bloody sharp teeth"! :D

 

1. Hulls: when M3 and you have plenty of crystals, MU to the max.

At M0 to M2 certainly MU the HP the first cheap steps, if the next upgrade takes a lot of Ranks.

You will have more enjoyable ánd profitable battles: and have a good chance to earn back the crystals

you spend on the MU 'ing.

 

2. Turrets: same as the hulls, only here the most important MU is the damage. If you compare hulls and turrets it is

more efficient to MU the turret. At least if you are not fighting with two or more weapons at one account, because than

it might be more efficient and a lot cheaper to MU your favorite hull a bit more.

 

3. Paints: always MU the first steps of the main protection. So in case of Tundra only MU the Railgun-part some steps.

My opinion: if the main part of the paint starts around 30% protection it is worth to MU it.

Some exceptions: for example the Forester is dirt cheap to MU to the max. and is pretty efficient at 15%!

 

 

Conclusion: microupgrades at a level below M3 are also worth it! But only take the real important ones like damage and

do not MU to the max. as it becomes way to expensive and less efficient in the past medium to final steps.

 

At M3 it 's all up to the crystals you have ánd want to spend!
