I think they've made Mammoth M2 a rubbish hull. This is because at M2, all of Titan's (except weight) stats are better. I think Mammoth should've been the tank which could push all other tanks or at least have more hp.

 

One may only chose Mammoth because it is cheaper or that they would want to get Mammoth M3.

Mammoth still has that psychological effect of invincibility, especially when it's sitting on the flag.

I'm somewhat regretting the fact that I chose Mammoth over Titan. I thought Mammoth to be better at the time, but after looking at the stats again I think I would have liked Titan better. Titan has a similarly massive amount of HP, but it has better speed, allowing you to utilize the health better since you will be better able to evade attacks. Not to mention that Titan can push people off the map with much ease (really great on Gravity).

 

Don't get me wrong, my M1 Mammoth has served me well and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future, but Titan would be more useful. Times like this make me wish there was a "Sell" button in the garage; I wouldn't even care if you got less than 100% of your crystals back.

^ Titan is only 6k! Feel free to get it any day... as I have both I can testify how much better Titan is! Lets you be an active member of your team without Nitro....

I definitely plan on grabbing Titan m2 next rank. Mammoth m2 i don't have but it's slowness doesn't impress me. Titan m2 isn't much different as far as armor and it is much more mobile.

Let's discuss Titan. Is it worth buying? Can it be a powerful force on the battle field? Does Mammoth render it obsolete, or is it the other way around?

I think it is good hull in defence tacticts ,as you can see this guids in attached information ,so if you are a defender player  take it!

@Raman: My M1 Titan has only 1 or 2 MUs on health and it is stronger than Mammoth. Not to mention it's faster, smaller, and easier to handle.

I disagree. Mammoth has a little bit more health, but noticeably less speed. Titan's higher speed allows it to preserve more of its health, since you won't be caught in the open for very long. Mammoth is only better than Titan if you want to be soaking up damage 24/7, and let's face it, nobody wants to be in that situation.

 

I tried M3 Titan in the test server, and I was very satisfied with it. I'd say it's more useful than Mammoth. It's also more stable (more bottom surface area) and less likely to be flipped due to its shape.

I love titan... its my favorite hull in the game. Its highly effective against any railguns, shafts and thunders I find. You can always buy a paint to provide protection aganist anyother turrent. It still does well aganist every turrent. Its pretty fast for its weight and size but still slow. I think it needs to have a bit more durability added to its stats. Other then that its a great hull and I like it. You can get the flag in CTF if you want, but im pretty sure none of your other teammates wants to wait for a titan or mammoth to capture the flag... Titan FTW.

Just got M1 Titan today. I like it a lot; it's like a Mammoth that's permanently on Nitro. Great for pushing people, and I'm not seeing too much of a difference in durability compared to Mammoth.

 

What turret goes best with it (besides Shaft)? Twins? Smoky?
