I wanted to use on my alt but couldn't rank up quickly enough :( Titan-Smoky is still fun :3

I don't normally play with smoky, but on Titan it is a boss according to TKP.

titan is better then mammoth

it has mostly better stats then mammoth

mammoth has more weight than titan but you don't need all the weight mammoth has

titan has slightly less protection a few micro upgrades might do it

titan looks way better then mammoth like what most people say

although mammoth m3 beats titan m3 in protection by quite a bit but still...

overall titan meats the standards mammoth just has more than you need

Very good combination. Best M2 heavy hull + best M2 turret = one-man-army.

 

There's a reason why I run away from M2 Titan-Smokies whenever I see them. You don't want to fight one face-to-face.

Turning speed, weight, and power are not often considered when choosing a hull. Sadly, most people just look at health and speed.

Mammoth has more weight than Titan, but with Titan's extra power, turning speed, and speed I'm probably going with M2 Titan when I get there.

 

And, that power seems perfect for gold boxes ;) though I could camp on the spot with M2 Mammoth

 

(Of course, if the Fortress kit is there when I get to major; then screw Titan xD M2 Mammoth here I come!)

 

Hmm... Still wondering which one to chose!

Of course, pushing power is the weight times the power so Titan has Mammoth there.  The extra maneuverability is also really nice.

Finally! someone mentions the titans power! I got so many gold boxes with titan. It's slow but just fast enough on a mid sized map to get to the gold spot. I recommend titan to you! Its much better then Mammoth.

But M2 Titan isn't slow, that's like the only problem :x (slow in comparison, but it certainly is viable for midfield, which is the position i like to play. Wasp is good for base raiding and whatnot though, they both fit my playstyle well. How I play my wasp, as you already know how I play my Hunter. :3 -->

maybe I should consider NOT getting a hull until I get an m3 turret? :S)
