Why is titan considered superior to mammoth?

I don 't know if that statement is true:

 

You got those who say that both hulls "speed" is so low, that speed doesn 't matter much:

so you better choose the one with the best armour.

 

The other ones will say that Titan at least has some movement in it and these small advantages mean

you can neglect the slight difference in armour (30 HP at M4).

Yes, i think you would get a great D/L with it.. but first buy a light hull if you don't have one

m2 titan is best and i beleive is better than mammoth m2 but on m3s titan remains best cause of is speed

It is the best hull. It's slimmer, agile and more power then Mammoth. I use it a ton and My titan is M1 with full micro so its m2. I want to break this up... Titan: Power, Speed and slimmer(Smaller target to) Mammoth: HP, weight. At M3 fully micro, the titan has 420 HP, 6.0 Speed, 90 turn, 5000 weight, 1600 power... Mammoth, 450 HP, 5.00 speed, 80 turn, 5500 weight, 1200 power. 30 HP less then mammoth but you get a 1 speed point and 10 turn and 400 more power, which is awesome for collecting gold boxes. I honestly think I invested in this hull wisely. So fantastic. I think the 30 HP difference is a bit of a ass kicker and kind of hard to defend titan against that fact. But, In battle, at my rank, titan is very great. I'm saving up for a kit that makes my titan M2 so I can start microing it faster ;) Titan ftw!

Titan has helped me get so many gold boxes on small-medium maps! I was having a drought in terms of catching gold boxes, but then last week, I was able to catch 8! 5 of those I caught in a row in Poly CP with Titan! On Island map, I had to fight the gold box from this big ol' mammoth and thanks to my pushing power, I stole it from him! Titan is awesome!

Still think hard whether to take this M4 or Mammy M4 when it comes to Polygon CPs/DM. Wanna pair it with either M3 Smoky or Twins.

Poly CP, I'd say go for mammy since you have the most health and benefit most from double armor.  You also said you are paiting with Twins, so it'd be a good CP holding and attacking combo.

True, the only problem is that it reaches the point slower. But Armor is good. I only have +1 MU on Mammy, but +17 on Titan. Mammy manages to last a bit better than Titan. It helpd me defend against 2-3 tanks a few times with DA. Titan have pushing power, but I hardly catch gold boxes.

 

I also have to consider my choice in Pro NS battles too where drugs can't be used.

maybe i am a wasp fan but titan hull is awesome you can push any hull that stand between you and the gold box titan m3 have enough power to push a building its good for gold hunters you can push every one away from the drop zone easily

Everyone thinks its ugly - I think it looks much better than mammoth but obviously hornet m2+is better than titan :)  (and maybe even all hull)
