I have this and smoky and shaft m0 in my other account. I don't understand "ugly" cause I like it. I am hearing that mammoth is better in every way but then I feel this is unique so I will use it on my other account now.  ^_^

None of the hulls looks ugly in Tanki....in my opinion, Titan is better than Mammoth in many ways....n I personally like titan's look....it's the best m1 hull after Hunter, although as a heavy hull, it is the best in its category..

Wish myself good luck n lots of crystals using it..☺

I bought Titan M3 on the 50% sale and have been slowly MUing it. I think I am about at 10/50.

 

I votes Twins as the best combo and use this often in Poly CP (obvious)

 

I also think Isida pairs well for camping in the Poly CP pit tunnel and healing your team mates as the two or more of you hold the point. Highly effective, so I'm surprised Isida isn't higher in the poll results.

 

Have to disagree with Smoky. Smoky is good and you can do well, but you will have your kills stolen very often by other players using Twins Thunder Hammer Smoky and Rail. I would have rated Smoky as number three, maybe lower, but my Smoky M3 may also be suffering from MU withdrawal, also approx 10/50.

Are you accelerating at the time? Viking (the Pancake) is VERY easy to overshoot. Even with my Viking, I have to stop moving if I want to reliably land a hit on another Viking.

Everyone thinks its ugly - I think it looks much better than mammoth but obviously hornet m2+is better than titan :) (and maybe even all hull)

I like Titan's sidewall design better than Mammoth's. The latter looks like the tank is dragging it's behind on the ground. I also like Titan's triangular design. The top down views seems a bit confused though - lots of irregular rounding. Overall I get the feeling that this tank can't decide what it wants to look like - muscular or angular.

True, the only problem is that it reaches the point slower. But Armor is good. I only have +1 MU on Mammy, but +17 on Titan. Mammy manages to last a bit better than Titan. It helpd me defend against 2-3 tanks a few times with DA. Titan have pushing power, but I hardly catch gold boxes.

 

I also have to consider my choice in Pro NS battles too where drugs can't be used.

Yeah, I get to the gold, and push other tanks out of the way just fine - then that Dictator just comes and climbs on top of me.

 

Edit- not entirely true. Before buying Titan I would be lucky to catch one gold a week in my Viking. Now I can reliably get 2-3 golds in a week with Titan.

Just bought M2! love the hulking-ness of this beast. Dunno why though, I seem to have trouble figuring out which end's the front, a problem I never had with hornet...

Can't decide if I want to MU this to M4 or wait one more rank and buy Mammoth M3 or get Mammy in a kit (with Vulcan).

 

I bough Titan for Poly CP and it's good, even for golds. With Twins, I've even been able to push away a few Dictators to get it

Well Titan is going to have to do. Right smack in the middle of the MU sale, Tanki up and gave me a 37% personal discount on Vulcan M3. Sold.

 

Update - a week later and I'm still a happy guy with Titan as an alternative to Viking. I wanted a hull that could

-last longer, both from enemy fire and now Vulcan's burn

-help catch gold boxes

-still be somewhat mobile (with a little help from the 4 key)

 

Titan fits the bill, whereas Mammy only gets me the first need - endurance. Oh, I might still buy Mammy on a good sale, but I'm in no hurry. Titan will do fine.

It's a weird tank. You gotta stick long with m1 and i think it's slow and hasn't got enough health for it's slowness. I will never use it  :ph34r:

This is a bad thing for me. I'm a Mammoth user and my most common enemies are Twins - Titan and Shaft - Titan. Whenever I see them I equip Double Damage as fast as I can to kill them in one shot with my Shaft M0 - Mammoth M1

Mammy is mostly used as camping or defence. 

Titan can be used in both (defence and offense) .

In small maps, twins is great on top of titan. medium maps call for smoky and long maps, rail or shaft plus camping.

I'm surprised there isn't more traffic in this thread. Post balance update, I see many more Titan users in Poly CP. Mammoth has vanished.

 

And then there is speed boost. Titan M3+ on Nitro is almost light hull fast. I see this being the new standard hull in battles - it's the new Viking
