Remaine that was pretty uplifting advice (yeah I'm such a noob ik). I now feel better, for a few minutes I forgot there were sales... So now I just need to wait for sales yay :) I will not be able to buy M1 Viking M1 Thunder and Corrosion at full price soon so wait.... Don't quote posts I made in July. At the time, Titan WAS obsolete against Mammoth - now the new physics have come, it's the other way around. If you continue to quote posts I made in July, I will take action. Are we on the same wavelength here?

Hey, that's a good start. Better than under 800, right? I think there might be a good sale on Easter (crossed fingers) so I can get my M2 Thunder then and you can maybe get M1 Viking then.

Well, it is for sure. Together IMO with the Smoky M1: really effective combo (even more so at M2)!

If you are into heavy hulls, give it a try!

 

Had a look at your videoguide about the hulls and really liked your view on them!

A videoguide that in my view every beginner should watch. Obligatory... ;)

 

I am going Hornet and Viking all the way also. Exception is the Wasp M2 that will at least become an "in between" hull.

And when on a beautiful, sunny and happy day  :D  I may become a Generalissimo: I will give the Hunter M3 a go for sure!

 

Heavy tanks are at the moment history for me.

Certainly when non-drugging everything the Titan can do, can be done with the speedier Viking as well.

 

And Mammoth I simply consider the much too slow druggers-hull: an absolute no go for me.

Both Mammoth and Titan are strong and have their use for sure, but they lack speed and for me speed equals fun.

Viking with it very sufficient HP is (just) fast enough to have lots (fun) of it! :)

Agreed 100%. Titan M1 is also perfect with Thunder M1 and Cedar :P or Twins and Python when you have loads of Freezes and Isidas attacking you :)

About Titan and Twins in the described situation: I can surely imagine it 's effectiveness.

 

Titan with Thunder M1 is a superb combo. I still prefer Viking, but sure this combo rocks!

 

On a personal view: first enjoy in the early-ranks, the overpowered Smoky M1, do this till WO4 and than

make the very natural transition to Thunder M1 (ofcourse I played/trained with Thunder M0, but on an alt. account

and not on my main account).

Even the turret-rotation speed of Smoky M1 and Thunder M1 are exactly the same!

IMO you simply go from one OP gun to another OP gun: nice! :)

Well, Thunder is unlocked at the same time as Smoky M1 in the Turret kit. You can rule from Staff Sergeant! :D

I was just using M1 Mammy/M0 Rico on my alternate in a Silence CTF (blue team). I was really missing my main's M1 Titan/M0 Twins combo... Mammy is just too big and bulky for me. Titan rules :D

Titan sucks on most levels sorry...

1. Crap at fast attacks (can be outpowered quite easily with swarm)

2. Only worth if your using with thunder or richochet (possibly twins but crap fighting at front lines)

3. Price is unjustifiable!

4. Only good at Dm battles!

 

But i have to say that, titan and smoky m2 are boss, you can maul your way through opponents

But thats all its good for... in my opionion

Viking aren't really a heavy tank at M3.... It is slower and weaker than dictator m3 with no MUs.

Titan smoky at the sergeant ranks-- too strong. I've seen a titan/smoky take down Majors with M2's. I think titan/rail looks like a dress with a long nose.

 

You can't compare titan to hornet or wasp like that. About speed, well what do you expect? Wasp and hornet are fast pace, for players who don't like to rest. Titan Mammoth is for campers or lazy people really.

1. Try drugging with First Aids and Twins.
2. Firebird works great when defending flags as you can hit multiple targets at once, you don't have to use your full charge on one person, and the armor will give you the time to do that.

3. Price is very justifiable. Perfect tank for people (like me) who want to have at least one heavy tank to change it up once in a while, but can't stand the hugeness and clumsiness of mammoth.

4. It rocks Silence CTFs, just sayin.

Screw it - I'm going to get it anyway. Mammoth can be my camping hull - Titan can be my outfield heavy hull.

Mammoth's good for DMs when you need a lot of health, drugging with Thunder and not needing to turn much. It has almost 20 more health points with a few MUs.. Titan reaches 300 though. And if you use it's power, you are better than a mammoth. e.g. pushing enemies off the map.

Mammoth only is good at M3...... Between M0 and M3 stages, It's Titan(or Viking) all the way as a heavy hull!
