I think titan is better than mammoth at m1. But after that i wouldnt go with it. For me, it dosent suit my needs, and i find the shape of it very ugly.

It's better than Mammoth and M1 AND M2. What deters people is the look which to be honest, is completely fair enough. Stats-wise it's the HP-rise in M3.

Notice how in M1-M2, Titan keeps up with Mammoth at M1 and M2 with there only being a 10 HP difference between them at M1 and only 8 HP difference at M2. At those Ms, the extra speed is worth it. At M3 however, the HP difference is 44; ridiculous.

 

Most people deem that the extra 0.6 isn't worth it and I'd say that's fair. Put it up to 365 and Titan would be as popular as Hornet.

EDIT: Maybe not because it will still be ugly; however, my point still stands about it being more popular.

Along with Smoky, Titan has the longest distance between upgrades of any weapon... You unlock M1 at Sergeant Major, and the next upgrade unlocks at Colonel. So, while everyone else has M2 equipment, you're still lugging around with M1 Titan and M1 Smoky. I don't think the arrangement of upgrades was thought through very well in development.

It is because smoky and titan M2 is, both are pretty overpowered. If they unlocked at say, my rank, first lieutenant, no one would be able to beat it, since M1 tanks are still common at my rank.

Titan is smaller in width (same of viking) and much more easy to do maneuvers than mammoth (same width of dictator) 

Its not better than mammoth for sure if you play in small maps or if u play as a camper, but it is at least faraway better than the useless viking.

Smokey and rail fits much better in titan than in mammoth, and its more easy with titan to aim your fire than with mammoth.

Mammoth is so big in size that u can shoot it at its tail. its for those who like to feel secure.

Titan is unpopular because of it's ugliness and rank requirements.

 

And why noobs don't continue with titan? Because they want the strongest tank, the unbeatable tank. That's why they go with mammoth. + Mammoth is cheap.

Yeah, the all familiar position of the turret that affects your gameplay.

Will need to try that out on the test server one time though... I like Titan's stats.

Titan for me is like mammy since i dont use slow tanks.

Between mammy and titan though this is what i think:

M0-mammy

M1-titan

M2-titan

M3-mammy

Although the shape of the titan makes more people get mammy.
