no.

10% discount => 90% to pay => discounted_price = normal_price x 0,90

40% discount => 60% to pay => discounted_price = normal_price x 0,60

If both discounts apply (which they will do) then you will pay:

discounted_price = normal_price x 0,90 x 0,60 = normal_price x 0,54

you will pay 54% of the normal_price; or in other words your total discount will be 46%.

what do you guys think it better:

Titan M3/M4 or Mammut M3/M4?

and why?

Titan M3 > Mammoth M3

Why?

1) Mammoth looks fat in general.

2) Mammoth is too slow.

3) Titan is cheaper.

4) Titan is smaller, and thus easier to hide.

5) Titan is taller, better for golds.

Haven't tried M4s yet so no comment.

Mammoth is better for defense and titan is better for offence.

Mammoth:

Better power and weight allow it to guard the flag more effectively than a titan.

Titan:

Higher top speed limit and lower acceleration means that it has to drive for longer distances to reach its top speed than mammy, which makes it better to travel to the enemy base.

What about DM? For dm they are literally the same hull, but if I had to pick one it would be mammoth, simply because it looks better.

Titan M3 > Mammoth M3

Why? My thinking with mammoth and titan is: If you want a heavy hull, why are you going with the lighter one? Both titan and mammy are slow, and I personally think it is better to have a little extra power rather than a little higher top speed.

1) Mammoth looks fat in general. I personally think is looks much more intimidating than a titan.

2) Mammoth is too slow. The speed difference in mammy and titan is barely noticeable.

3) Titan is cheaper. The rebalance made all hulls cost the same amount of crystals at m4. At m3 it costs like 20k more crystals, but keep in mind that its m1 and m2 modifications have been more expensive than mammoth's.

4) Titan is smaller, and thus easier to hide. While true, the size difference is very small, it is still hard to hide a titan.

5) Titan is taller, better for golds. I can't really tell which hull is taller, but if titan was taller, again the difference is negligible. Also wouldn't the extra power from mammy help more than extra height?

Haven't tried M4s yet so no comment.

Mammoth and titan m3 cost exactly the same

  Please come back to me when you know what you're talking about.

Titan is more versatile since speed is a much more beneficial attribute than power on large maps.

1) Mammoth looks fat in general. I personally think is looks much more intimidating than a titan. Fat and intimidating then.

2) Mammoth is too slow. The speed difference in mammy and titan is barely noticeable. Maybe barely noticable at times, but it actually makes a difference.

3) Titan is cheaper. The rebalance made all hulls cost the same amount of crystals at m4. At m3 it costs like 20k more crystals, but keep in mind that its m1 and m2 modifications have been more expensive than mammoth's. I am talking about the M3 versions. You can ignore all the other modifications. And as a side note Titan M2 is far better than it's Mammoth counterpart.

4) Titan is smaller, and thus easier to hide. While true, the size difference is very small, it is still hard to hide a titan. Mammoth is significantly wider.

5) Titan is taller, better for golds. I can't really tell which hull is taller, but if titan was taller, again the difference is negligible. Also wouldn't the extra power from mammy help more than extra height?  No it wouldn't, because Mammoth's nearly flat hull with a gentle gradient is so easy to climb on top of. Also Titan is the 2nd tallest hull in the game.

Titan is more versatile since speed is a much more beneficial attribute than power on large maps.  In regular battles, the maps are usually large, but in pro battles the maps are definitely on the smaller side.

1) Mammoth looks fat in general. I personally think is looks much more intimidating than a titan. Fat and intimidating then.

2) Mammoth is too slow. The speed difference in mammy and titan is barely noticeable. Maybe barely noticable at times, but it actually makes a difference. Well I haven't really gotten a chance to test out the titan. I imagine that the speed difference is similar to that of wasp's and hornet's. If it is, there would only be like a 5 second (or less) difference in a race across a map like Dusseldorf.

3) Titan is cheaper. The rebalance made all hulls cost the same amount of crystals at m4. At m3 it costs like 20k more crystals, but keep in mind that its m1 and m2 modifications have been more expensive than mammoth's. I am talking about the M3 versions. I've now choosen the Titan, and I am veryy pleased with it's performance

I had the chance to compare it 1:1 to a Mammut, and the Titan suite me more. It is more agile (turning). The top Speed difference makes not much of a difference for me, as I use it with Twins.

Today I saw a Titan and a Mammut race down the large ramp in polygon. The Titan reached the Pit with 1 floor tile advantage.. I guess the Mammut could live with that :P (it may make a differnce if you use it with Fire or smth).

I also pushed my Titan vs a Mammut. The Mammut pushes me back sooooo slowly, it makes not much of a difference.

I preffer that the Titan is slimmer and fits through the diagonal edges in Arena.

I like how mammoth looks but titan is better in every way since the rebalance. If mammoth had a lot of extra armour then I would probably choose it.

Yeah but we're splitting hairs. In a competitive battle I don't see those factors making mammoth any better.

The only advantage besides stability is that the mammoth has a much smaller profile for peek-a-boo sniping with turrets. The length of the titan in both front and rear make it easier to hit for the enemy tanks. Just my experience.

True. I don't know why but I feel vulnerable whenever I used mammoth. I feel like a sitting duck because it's slow - I can't catch flags with it or run away from druggers. I see no use for it other than sniping?

I will say that seeing an M3-M4 mammy flag sitting with twins is daunting in a hornet;)

If I have a 50% discount and a 10% discount, does it work out as 55%?

Titan is Ugly

But good for defence only

It sucks at all the other things

In my opinion it is the most beautiful hull at M3.

Also, Titan is good for attacking on small-medium maps, and good at holding a position in large maps with ranged weapons.

What would be a better investment - titan M3 or railgun M3?

I see a lot of titan/smoky and titan/ricochet combinations which are very effective in smaller maps. Also titan handles better than viking.

Railgun would open up a new game mode and it's very strong on supplies.
