Thanks :) So should I just wait to rank up and get Thunder M1 or shall I get another M1 turret meanwhile?

Well, if you weren 't already WO2 I would have adviced you the Smoky M1! No kidding.

Now I would just stick with your Thunder M0.

You already came so far with a relatively "bad" Thunder: the M0, you can make that final stretch with it as well.

Better save your crystals for a good "Thunder-paint", I would advice you the WO3 Corrosion

or WO5 Cedar paint. Choose the one you prefer, both have their merits. I myself went for Cedar btw and

still use it MU 'd on my alt.

Try to avoid the battles with Thunder M1 's, if you didn 't do that already! ;)

The Thunder M1 is really an overpowered OP weapon in its ranks. Maybe even the best Thunder upgrade!

The difference between Thunder M1 and M2 is noticable but that 's about it. The difference between Thunder M0 and M1?

It is like night and day! B)

I suppose you know most in and outs of the Splash-damage?

If not read the Thunder guides, especially this one: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=187547&do=findComment&comment=3332046

and this might be handy too (my own piece :-): http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=177128&page=61&do=findComment&comment=3344806

Use it well and improve it even more and the reward in crystals and fun will be tremendous!

Splash them to smithereens, Vettefan22! :)

Thanks again :) And I was planning to get Corrosion already, it's my dream paint; protection against Thunder, Rail, and Shaft for my Wasp?! SWEET

In Holland we say: two flies in one hit!

English say: to kill two birds with one stone! (which also proves clearly that the Dutch are much friendlier towards birds :D )

A friend of mine plays with Wasp M1 's: one account with Rail, and the other with Freeze. On both accounts: Corrossion!

Protects him from getting one-shotted too much: indeed SWEET! :)

Nah.... Get Tundra. Its heck of pretty and have an awesome protection against Rail. Prevents you from getting one-shot when you use Wasp. Plus, even you have the 15% protection against Shaft, shafts are still likely to kill you because of the low protection percentage. GET TUNDRA!!!

Well it would be for protection against my own Thunder's splash damage, I can deal with other Thunders myself ;)

Talking about "stuff" again: you know your stuff! ;)

Ofcourse Tundra has his value. MU it and truly become the nightmare of fellow Railers. B)

If you were not playing with Thunder also I would have recommended to you as well!

And Tundra with the green/ bright white pattern sure looks awesome (camo-wise? hmmm),

but looks should always be our last worry: otherwise we would all be playing our whole carreer with "In Love"!

But you are playing Thunder also, and by the looks of it will get dangerously hooked on it: the M1 is addictive!

As a "Thundereer" with Corrossion (especially if MU 'd) you will have a huge advantage over other Thunders who use

non-Thunder paints like Tundra!

On the other hand if you meet guys with heavy Thunder paints like Cedar than it is you who got to outsmart them ofcourse. :)

Even more info about Tundra here: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=177128&page=86&do=findComment&comment=3444100

BTW: my Wasp friend (don 't even mention Hornet to him :D) I mentioned before who is a Major already is a dedicated non buyer,

so he is saving his crystals for the next upgrades and also for further micro-upgrading his Corrossions.

He is even planning to use fully MU 'd Corrossions till he can get his dream paint Picasso!

But first Wasp M2: he is having a tough final stretch towards it, with his now in comparison weak Wasp M1.)

If I decide to M1 Isida, then I may get Tundra, but Corrosion comes first (after M1 Viking). And I know how annoying that extra shot can be (sort of). With M0 Thunder vs metallic hornets, it gets really annoying. I just played a Highland CTF with one of those, he became like my arch nemesis :P

And Lord of the Snipers that link really helped thanks :D
And for the two thunder guide links you posted earlier, I already read the first one :) and the second one was really interesting. I'll have to try that 'shoot the ground thing' on purpose, I always do it an accident and splash myself or entirely miss my opponents :(

Thanks! If you want to practice "rocking": just find an empty map and first get some training there!

Simply place your tank in front of a high wall. First you shoot straight and you make a nice black Thunderblast on the wall.

Next you drive just a little forward and almost directly you stop ánd shoot simultaneously.

If you were too far away from the wall you will have hit the ground, if you were a bit closer you have made a second black spot

underneath the first one on the wall.

Now lets make one on top of these two. It is simply the opposite movement of the "groundshot". Lets call it the "airshot".

First you drive back just a tiny bit and almost directly you stop and shoot simultaneously again. Three spots on the wall, job done!

How to use these movements. Lets say you are fighting in the map Polygon. And some tanks are in the middle in the pit.

Drive a little bit closer to the pit and make the groundshot, in this case do not shoot the ground but better shoot directly on the tank or

the wall just behind him. When getting more skilled you can make quite sharp downward angles this way with your

Thunder. Really a very rewarding technique! I use it a lot to also get the tanks that are hiding in the "basement" of the Polygon pit.

This "groundshot" is a "must" in my opinion, the next one more optional.

Even more spectacular is the "airshot"! It is in my experience quite a bit harder than the groundshot. You miss more often,

but if performed well and if you have enough distance you can hit the tanks on the highest level of the map, straight from the ground!

If you are further away you can ofcourse simply shoot straight and hit the enemy too, but as a result of the increased distance

not with the same devastating damage!

Certainly in this case you should aim for the tank!

Most tanks that high do certainly feel save from a Thunder nearby on the ground: proof them wrong! B)

Edit: it surprised me that these shots were even possible with such an extremely stable tank as the Viking!

I suppose, just an estimated guess, that it only works thanks to the superb acceleration the Viking has.

If so, than the combination of a short fast acceleration with a sudden stop does even make such a stable tank

to get out of balance: a shot at the right time closes the deal!

should i buy viking and freeze

You can, but with close-range weapons speed becomes more crucial.

Viking-Freeze works, but I myself would use it mainly as a defending combo in CTF 's.

That 's why I rather use the proven Hornet-Freeze combo. Much more versatile...and fun!

What rank? Maybe we can battle together?

On both he is a Mayor so that would become problematic. He is only playing Tanki (a lot) and

is not active on the forum. Does read topics on the forum sometimes.

I suppose I could tell you his answer if you have a question regarding Wasps.

He and also Buggati-the-Best made me have a positive look on Corrossion paint,

in combination with especially lighter hulls it has a very good purpose.

Before I really thought it was total rubbish.....

He became a Wasp-addict as soon as he started playing. We have done some battles together and

he is a really good attacker! Catches flags but is more a supporting attacker.

We would like to play more as a team, but the problem is that he 's into CTF 's and I 'm into DM 's.

Also his Waspcombo 's with Freeze/Rail are more suited for CTF than DM 's.

I 've been more often in his CTF-battles than vice versa and mostly did defending.

Pro Battles with NO drugs will mean that I will play much more CTF 's and we can team up more, nice!

Wasp got me through my (more so) noob days (like 2 months ago XD) in Highland. In the old map, there were so many fun secret places to go to! I'd hide behind that wall near the red base, where it's just a drop-off now, and happily shoot at enemies without dying. I was an extreme camper, but it was the only way because I had no skills then :P I switched off Hornet and Wasp because I MUed ALOT (which is why I'm so broke now), and after a while I thought, forget Hornet, it's slower and bigger, not for me! I've used Wasp ever since, and have actually gotten skilled at it. The problems with hornet start at the drift. I found it cool at first, but I was just playing a 60 flag Iran CTF and the drift killed me multiple times. I am now considering wasp on that acc too :) However I did score first on my team, we won, and I went from 77 crys at the start of that game to almost 3000 (rank up, gold box...k not really but SO CLOSE, cry drops, us winning a 3000 battle fund with me at top...) So I earned over 900 crys from winning, but I would have had over 1000 with Wasp.

I love CTF, and I rarely play DMs or TDMs. I am a strict offender, and I capture many flags :) Also I've played some matches recently with me as bottom rank, and their were people at your rank playing. So maybe it is possible?

You are not a noob anymore, you are already old school! ;)

About the drifting of the Hornet you are right IMO: that is a disadvantage. You can get more used to it though.

Hornet is used a lot and partly because the upgrades are regular and cheap: but there 's more to this tank... B)

Well, regarding fighting with higher ranks I will ask my Waspy friend if he wants to make yóu a friend or not.

Than it 's up to him, ok? He has two accounts, which one do you prefer: Wasp-Rail or Wasp-Freeze?
