I've been using Viking since i joined tanki last month and saved crystals to buy Viking m1 and Rico m1 it's a perfect combination for close range battles i can even manage to capture flags with Viking m1 cause of its armour :)

Viking-Thunder can be amazing:

I've been playing daily and i mostly join battles that are equal to my rank because its harder to destroy higher ranks cause of their m2s and costly protective paints but it's good experience fighting higher ranks and the best paint i have cost 500 crystals :D

Thunder M1 is superb at your rank. Use it at medium ánd far distance.

With Double Powers it is simply OP.

I assume you know about Splash damage? If not search the forums.

 

Rico however is almost unbeatable at close range: at least with a full clip.

The damage done by the plasma-balls combined with the impact renders even a Viking close to useless...

 

At medium range Rico is still good against most, but a skilled side-ways driver (Railgun-style) can quite easily dodge most plasma-balls.

As I mentioned in my post: I did use DP 's and your right: these almost constantly.

 

Other dropped drugs are (too) easily available at both frontiers of the Desert Map: especially the repair-kits.

So I hardly used anything else than (OP) DP 's.

 

DP 's could really use a nerf in my opinion. Will put this soon in Ideas and Suggestions:

so would DA's imo,if someone had all 3 but they were weaker there wouldn't have been the need of smart cooldowns..

my rico shots are accurate and plus rail gunners use wasp or hornet which has less armor they don't even get chance to fire their rail gun :D

I love telling people that when I'm on my other accounts. Then they're like challenge me, I'll beat you. My next step is to make a nice stadium match and proceed to ruin their day using this acc.

 

I use shaft and viking m2 so they don't stand a chance of getting off a shot on me.

I am trying to start using different combos with my viking. Does anyone have any helpful recommendations?

Fully agree.

 

Did a remake of the Desert DM battle this time against similar and higher ranks.

As it should be.

Same recipe: Viking M2/Thunder M2 with Prodigi and to Bugatti: I used again plenty of DP 's.

 

Don 't feel bad about this one at all... :)

Because i have many from daily gifts ._.

at the moment,i just used a bunch of double powers,have thousand of nitros and armour...

and i am not wasting xD

when i used double power i won all my DMs,was on 1st place without problems >_>
