Yeah, but the other versions of vicking (M2,M3,M3+) are much better then hunter's

Viking is good, arguably great. The problem with both Viking and Hunter is (duh) that as versatile medium tanks they are never the best at anything. They are not the fastest tanks nor are they the toughest.

 

But they are good enough to play in battles which require speed and other battles which require strength. This is foremost a huge money saver since you can play any battle without having to invest in specialty tanks. I played through to Marshal on Viking only and have done well in battles and in crystals.

 

I do avoid Monte Carlo, Düsseldorf, and Lost Temple because those are home to long range weapons, not necessarily because Viking is a slower tank.

 

My only beef with Viking is the steering. It feels like all the weight and power is at the very center of the hull. A hit to the corner by almost any weapon sends Viking radically off course or worse, spin it like a top.

 

But this is a small price to pay for such a tough tank.

Viking is good with m1 itself also richo m1 and the paint chainmale like in one of the kits. M2 and m3 of viking and richo will also make a tank be unstoppable against some of you're opponents.

I've had success with Viking Twins, Viking Rico, Viking Isida, and Viking Smoky.

Smoky isn't so good with m0 or m1 but if you have viking equipped you still have a chance of surviving in battle.

Suitable; But not perfect.

That's the thing with medium tanks, they don't have a specific role for them, it's just what the situation needs.

Viking users sometimes will be tempted to buy specialty hulls.... Wasp or Mammoth. Don't. Both of these hulls might as well have a bullseye on them. Wasp is an easy kill, and everyone knows it. And Mammoth can't escape, so with persistence and maybe some maneuvering, also an easy kill.

I like Viking because it can take some punishment and is mobile as well.

 I like Viking and Thunder too, is this combo good at higher ranks? I want to get M3 Viking and Thunder later on but people are saying that Vulcan is really deadly at higher ranks and I hope I'll be able to compete against them at the high ranks.

Vulcan is pretty rare at high ranks. You do see some and they are powerful but not very plentiful.

 

Hanmer and Isida are the turrets that become more popular at M3 after all but disappearing at lower ranks.

 

Thunder is diminished at M3, but still playable. Vulcan, when you do see one, will kill you before you get close enough to do enough damage.

Viking is very good but if it had the power of mammoth and speed of hornet it would have been way better

I was in a Noise CTF yesterday with a Viking/Thunder-M3(modified to M4) teammate, and man, did he lay waste!

Thunder when m4 does make a difference but i personally like mammoth on thunder. Camp but it's gonna do good anyway. But i don't have a crush on thunder. Will buy it in near future for OMP

In order to maximize Thunder's potential at higher ranks, MU it! Thunder M4 is a monster compared to M3. I've seen Thunder-Mammoth M4s completely obliterate anyone in their path.

I own both Viking and Hunter at M3. Which to MU to M4?
