I noticed. I had sort of gotten used to thinking of Dictator as a hull without a home since I just couldn't figure out a good use for the thing. Then I took a good look at its M3 and M4 stats. Better than Viking. Damn.

 

But... No one is buying. No one is using. Why?

1-No kits - no early access or reliable discount on the hull.

2-Viking is close enough. And you can snag it in very early unlock kits at Brigadier and start your M4 process LONG before you are Gismo.

3-Players have already invested in other combos. Only a Gismo with crystals to burn is going to pick up and MU another hull. New Gismos are going to polish their existing combos and then pick up and polish NEW TURRETS. Rounding out a hull collection is so meh.

There are a lot of dictators M3 running around in Generalissimo Polygon CP battles though.

Anyone notice that Dictator takes over Viking in speed and HP at M3? I didn't til' just now.

actually m4 viking has 1.0 more speed more stability smaller area for being attacked on At the cost of 32 hp.i consider them balanced

This isn't the first, nor will it be the last time somebody has done this, and it takes simple reading for it to be completely prevented. Even then, common sense is a factor - if there's a thread with over 100 pages, and you're quoting somebody from the first few pages, that should be enough of an indication to you that the post is old. If people don't want to read, they need to be told.

Viking M3.6 thanks to MU sale.

 

Damn this tank is awesome. Speedy and highly maneuverable with armor that increments by a full point with each MU. Will definitely continue toward M4, which I expect to just freaking rock!

That's my one difficulty with Viking. I never get golds, unless a) I jump of a ledge to get it or b) end up on top of the pile of tanks huddled around the drop zone. I do have it M4, and it's amazing, playing with Generalissmos is a lot easier now. All I need to do now is buy Ricochet M3 and then M4 it, and then my dream tank is complete.

Just got to M3.7. Almost there. I swear with golds, I can never climb other tanks with Viking. But anytime I get into a shoving match, I 'always' lift onto the other tank, who then kills me from below. :/

Isn't it weird that it can go perfectly with almost any turret? The only things I wouldn't use are Vulcan and rail, because I haven't figured them out yet!

Vulcan-Viking is easy...

It requires only knowledge of basic Vulcan mechanics and turret rotation.

I've never tried Viking-Rail, though.

I have. It's good for camping. You won't be able to make a quick get away if you are found. Faster than your Titan/Railgun experiment, but not fast enough like Wasp or Hornet.

No, but it compensates that with a solid defensive position and Forester, allowing it to survive three extra shots against an M0 Railgun or two with an M1.

And Good God, what an amazing hull this is the closer I get to M4.

Those last 6 MUs, I can probably snag on the next MU sale or two.
