My Hunter is At M0 in my Garage sucking dust same as Smoky

The only thing this proves is you have a Hunter M0, which would not do well at W04.

And why did you buy so many m0 items instead of upgrading a couple of pairs of items?

Chek my profile also

You see the thing is what we call stabilty is how well it can take the impact force

at M0&M1 levels the impact force of turrets are not that much so Viking has no problems

but after M2+ things change Turret's have more impact force , and when i take hits with my Viking TBH i feel that my Hornet is more stable

I used M3 Hunter with Thunder yesterday i was helping a friend

I really loved how stable i was , i did not miss any shots which i will miss with Viking cause i am taking hit's

it felt really great

SO my first M4 will be Hunter , i am thinking to get Vandal kit

Not to mention that after m2 ranks, people will know how to hit corners with such nasty effect.

My philosophy has been choose one light, one medium, and one heavy hull. One midrange, close range and long range turret. I began with medium and midrange first because I used to choose my battles. Once they were m4, I moved to heavy and long range. Working on light and close range now. With the new MM it is nice to be able to adjust based on the map.

My 1st account (this one) bought all the m0 items just to learn how they all worked.  I knew I was spending on dead ends but OTOH I felt it just came with the territory for a new player.

Now with 3 x and containers in mission chains low ranks can buy all the m0 and not hamstring themselves.  Taken all together it's just a few thou Cry.

Oh you have unlocked M3's

But for me still with M2 so i am just using one combo now , Rico Viking , rico is 10/10

So i have no problem's even if i get into legend battels

i actually went to legend battle and it was so fun , very speedy game play

Oh yeah, you are approaching this the right way. Choose one combo and max it out! When you hit M3 then you can branch out...but still focus on getting one combo to M4 first.

Love Rico!!!! Do you have the m2 alt? It is a very devastating alt IMO.

I disagree, with the rules as the are today. Unless you are a lavish buyer.

In the past a player could have one hull one turret and only a few modules to mu. Total items gobbling up Cry?  4 or 5.

Today the Marshal+ player will have 1-2 hulls 1-2 turrets 13-14 modules and 1-2 drones all looking for mu to gobble up.  Total mu projects?  16-20.

The MU scale is massively cost-weighted  at the upper end.  It costs about 22% of the total to buy the first 50% of the total mu benefit. It costs about 78% to buy the 2nd 50%.

With so many items needing mu investment all at once players will get a much larger return spreading money around on many items than large amounts spent on just a couple.

The goal instead is to get to the middle part of the ranges ASAP on as many useful items as possible. The difference between mu 20 and mu 10 is not huge, Getting to the mid points will make your tanks tough and flexible. No legend will be able to just beat you to pulp based on tank quality.  From that point on you work to focus on a few upper-mu items where you can get the best return on those expensive investments.  That might mean even more turrest hulls or drones insted of upper mu levels.

The new mu costs mean it will be ver have / long term to get all items owned to mu 20.  MU 20 might never happen.  No need to push 1 or 2 items at teh expense of all others/,

I agree.

I'm half-way to Legend 3 and still don't have an M4.

But I do have ~ 18 pieces of equipment (including modules) 80% of the way to M4. M4s might have a 4% advantage on me.  But I can reduce that drastically by equipping the correct Mu-ed module.

And I get huge benefits from the 50% sales.

Yes thanks.  That's the game plan I was trying to describe.

IIRC I was looking at the turret and hull mu tables awhile back. For some reason I saw mu-14 as some sort of sweet spot to aim for.  With 20 steps each single mu step after m3 isn't too costly.

Wolv do you recall about 9 months ago I was warned my lack of a m3 kit would make my life during MajGen and General living hell?  I fought all sosrts of m4 players with straight m3 gear then.  By overall k/d has gone up about 10% since then.  With tens of thousands of deaths in the denominator +10% growth ain't nothin'.

Now that I can mu above m3 I am supposed to still phear the m4?  Why?

In my experience the protection modules are the game-changer.

M4 has maybe a 13% to 14% advantage.  But then drop in 35% (stock) protection module and it's a new ball-game.

Having the ability to switch a turret to possibly avoid 35%+ protection, OR being able to reduce your enemy attack by 35% makes a HUGE difference.

Also depends on how you play.  Flag-cappers vs camper?  Camper does not need the same upgrades a #1 target requires.

Hunter has the second best pushing power of all hulls (second to dictator), is not too slow/not too fast and has the same armor as viking and dictator. I think hunter is a good choice.

Depends on what you are using it for and what turrets you favor.

Viking is better for capping flags due to it's speed. Also has lower profile.

But Hunter has better stability and for turrets like smoky and even vulcan allows you to get more hits on enemy.

I am kinda the team player's who carry the team , except in ASL red

Best for Rico & Smoky ?

Vik/Hunter ?

For smoky I'd say Hunter.  I had smoky before the Hunter/Viking switch and I found it easier to use smoky back then.

With Ricco, the difference is not quite as pronounced. I think Ricco can do almost as good on Viking as it does on Hunter.

I think Ricco is a bit more forgiving in the aiming category than smoky.

I completely agree with you on this point. The old hunter was hard to beat IMO. The new viking I thought was identical...turns out I was wrong. Once I invested the crystals to get it to m4, I realized it didn't have all the stability I needed vs higher ranking opponents. I have struggled with it and invested in the titan to m4. Much better...just made capping a flag highly unlikely:)

You can try to cap flags with hornet - just might need to use more DAs to survive. (along with rail, shaft and maybe thunder or freeze protection)

Typically Viking is better than Hunter for capping flags due to the extra speed.

This account uses Viking and Hornet (plus Titan for maps like Silence)
