cool story bruh

What you said is right! Many ppl including myself hate to get into fight with mammoth because it takes a long time to die and I might just get killed by mammoth's team mates before I kill him.

With me it's the opposite. People think this when they see me: Shaft M0 - Mammoth M1, you think you can beat me, huh? You just get blown to pieces, bro. (Usually it's only Freezes that think this, because I am so slow that unless I snipe them before they are even close to me I'm frozen meat in seconds)

When the see a Titan they think this: Arrrgh! He'll blow me to a billion pieces. Run and attack that Mammoth over there - he'll be easy meat!

I don't use mammoth ever, but when I used to, I'd play CTF on gravity with freeze on top of it. No way to flank me, plus being a heavy tank, you won't easily kill me, nor will it be easy to get away with using freeze. I feel that's the BEST way to use mammoth, and have an isida on a hornet to hide behind me to heal me.

One or two mammoth/freeze players, and the rest drugging isida/hornet users! xD you can't lose!!

And who were the idiots that thought that Thunder goes good with Mammoth?! I have Thunder M3 and Mammoth M2 and when I use them they're as crap as hell!

I think Shaft is the best

If you use a shaft and mammoth in Lost temple CTF and hide in the clump of trees, you are near-indestructible.

Shaft and Mammoth is not a good combination at the higher ranks- the laser gives you away and you will be a target for every railgun in the game.  The slow speed of mammoth means you can't escape. Of course, at the lower ranks playing with shaft is quite fun because nobody has figured out how to counter them yet.

mammoth is only current m1 hull I have so I use it quite frequently and usually do good.  It seems that mammoth gets a bad rap because it is the heaviest hull in the game and is only used by noobs, but that isn't true at all.  I do really good with mammoth and wreck opponents constantly,(usually with vulcan, but i use firebird for short-range maps), however, there is hardly ever a game that I use it and somebody doesn't start swearing at me and calling me a noob.   :(

The people that call other people noobs are the true noobs   :P

Playing with mammoth doesn't mean you are a noob.  THEre's nothing wrong with mammoth.  Playing with shaft doesn't make you a noob.  There's nothing wrong with shaft. However, I am talking of the specific combination of mammoth with shaft, which is hard to use effectively.  Many players who get mammoth think they can just camp in the open without cover, but that's wrong.  Mammoths still need cover to go behind.

I rarely get killed by people using Mammy. If they have  long range gun i stay away and sneak up behind them. if the have a short range gun i shot from a medium range distance. if the have a medium ranged gun, like smoky, I'll avoid them completely.

No offense, but you are kinda stating the obvious here.  Plus, who would LOVE the low speed and HATE the high protection? :P

Would you use Mammoth in actual battle? Do you enjoy it and think it fits your playstyle?
