There is 1 advantage Mammoth has...turret placement. It pairs better with Shaft as it allows you to be less exposed while sniping and it seems to be just as good as Titan in Island CP for the exact same reason (despite the inferior pushing power). However, this is just not enough. Just for the sake of it I thought what would I prefer if I won a dream tank and I would rather get a Titan M4 (despite already having it M3 and quite a bit MUed)  instead of a Mammoth XT M4.

 

Edit: Just fought with some Legend 50-70 guys in Island CP (organized group). None of them was using Mammoth and IMO those guys really know what they are doing. Moreover, everybody from the strongest CP clans prefer Titan, regardless of the map they are playing.

It's true mammoth has been nerfed and is no longer an HP God, at least without drugs.  But I find that as the ranks progress, and as weapons gain impact force and heavy tanks get faster, they [heavies] become a more potent force on any map. 

Honestly I think that light hulls are more fun to play regardless- so to increase game diversity the designers make heavies more powerful.

I think it will get the forcefield overdrive, would make the most sense imo, but just speculation.

Well well well. The v-log is out and indeed, mammoth's overdrive is almost completely useless. Except in goods and polygon cp. And we thought mammy was getting better. Rest in peace mammoth. But hey, not as bad as how trash dictator.

Mammoth's Overdrive is very good. It takes Mammoth back to the good old days of being practically invunerable. If you do not think it is good, get Titan.

mammoths new overdrive sounds OP at first, but they said they would reduce its speed, and it would be for a "very" short amount of time. if its anything under 5 seconds, there are few situations where that would be effective. and i hope its amount of time to fully charge is shortened to if thats the case, otherwise i would just prefer titans shield overdrive...

 

as a long time mammoth user, and as someone who has it M4, i just really hope tanki doesn't mess this up , this is there chance to finally... Make Mammoth Great Again™

I disagree. It will destroy all tanks in a nearby radius, which is great. Doesn't matter if it lasts only for a few seconds, if you drive into a CP point or the enemy base you can wipe out their defense.

hehe if you drive into a point enemies will drive out of the point faster than you.

When the new ODs are released, noone will even dare to touch an enemy mammoth. And if you are the mammoth, you aint catching nobody with that speed, especially when the OD reduces your speed even more.

Only time the OD will be used for kills is either gold boxes or control points. Other than those, the OD will mostly be for the invincibility.

I used to prefer titan over mammoth, but after the rebalance, everything changed and I don't understand why people still want titan over mammoth

The things that make a hull "heavy" are power, weight, speed, HP. Mammoth beats titan in every aspect except speed, reverse acceleration and turning speed which seldom matter in an all drug battle (which these hulls are usually used for) or when you are camping and killing. In these parameters too, the difference is not major and mammoth has another rarely talked about advantage, great turret placement. The turret is placed on the right edge and hence makes it great for weapons like shaft, vulcan to attack by peeking from a corner. Mammoth isn't as high as titan but these hulls aren't even made for catching golds, are they? And still people say mammoth is "worthless", "trash", some are even making articles on "is mammoth even good?". Could someone please explain me the reason for this !?! Why is mammoth not regarded as a good hull? Why does everyone like Titan better?
