most clans they prefer hornet over wasp, i have both wasp m3 and hornet m3, 

i find it more fun with wasp because i mastered its movements and i can runaway from an attacking freeze or an isida, however in DM i prefer hornet to steal kills, 

It depends on the map i guess,

Generally when drugging i prefer hornet, but when playing with no drugs i prefer wasp. as it hurts when u get killed easily while using a drugging wasp with a rail or to let you flip and by this u lose the drugs u pressed on.

So i guess its not fair to have wasp m3 with such high price, at least it was supposed to have a better armor, because it costs more and it comes with much higher rank than hornet. 

Its well known that wasp m2 is better than hornet m2 of course, but i doubt it with m3

At m2 the wasp is much more fun and better too in all aspects

 

When it comes to m3 they are same in my opinion, Ofcourse those people who drug with wasp are stupid because they can easily get knocked over no matter how skilful someone is, I say that wasp is better because it's small and if u learn how to turn with it then u can get more out of it, besides wasps are not common so ur less likely for another wasp to grab u with its freeze isida or firebird

My modest opinion on this one - From what I've experienced on the test server Wasp will be much different. For me at least, the playing style will change a lot because I've learned to play this hull according to the current physics and I'll have to revise my piloting strategy completely (Along with every other wasp user out there).

Prodigi rules, but You have to take into account that Digital and Thundra can also provide sufficient protection against rail for a much more reasonable price. You will just need a bit more luck to survive multiple M3 rail shots then. Even Forester gives you an advantage and in clan wars it can be a lifesaver.

If you are used to playing with Hornet, then so be it - it's a great hull with good maneuverability. M3 Is definitely worth it at its rank. Though for your closest rank Wasp would be ideal. It is always prefered to get the better equipment earlier. From experience I can tell you this is how the two hulls perform in comparison with each other:

 

Hornet M2 < Wasp M2 < Hornet M3 < Wasp M3

Hornet might be a better deal but not worth it. It is like vik vs dic. Dic might be more expensive and unlocked l8r but it is better
