@ MrAmazingKiller : Congrats on ranking! Also, I love Wasp M1 too :D Depending on my Forester to get me through the many, many ranks until M2...

 

@Stinger911 : Just wait until they see you, engage nitro, and start dodging you're scope and steal your flag. As a fellow Shafter, I know that feeling. I also know the feeling of doing that to other shafts :D

Wasp m0 and Fire is my main set up, I find the Hornet does not corner near as nicely as the Wasp. Could use a little more in the protection department, I am torn between upgrading to a M1 weapon or Hull first.

 

This is a great flag stealer, activate NOs and dodge the long range and you are home free.

 

I do tip and die frequently but my skills are improving.

^ Firebird and Wasp are both very cheap and unlock early at M1, Firebird more so. Get firebird first as it is cheaper by around 4000 crys and unlocks earlier. Then save for Wasp M1. As for flipping, what I tend to do if I am going to flip is I just embrace it. I accelerate and turn, so that I have the chance to roll over completely and end up on my tracks. It doesn't always work, but you're never going to get a better result by slowing down and trying to stop it.

It's actually the hardest hull to control; thus not for beginners.

wasp is the greatest hull,but your right its too fast to control for beginners if you master all other hulls and turrets wasp is the best hull ever.

I advise upgrading the hull first.    Your best "weapon" with the Wasp is it's speed.   You can sneak up on other tanks and shoot them by surprise.  Getting the first shot is  more important than the power of your gun.

I disagree. Severely. Put forester on it and it will survive rail shots. M1 is OP when it unlocks, and M2 is insanely OP. The speed and manuevurabilty lets skilled players dodge shafts and rails, something a Hornet could never hope to do. Also, Hornet is getting massively nerfed. So yeah, Wasp FTW!

Wasp m2 is sooooooooooooo high rank.

Before it hornet m2 is faster avalible

similar speed and more armored.

I can easily dodge Rail shots at close quarters with some fancy moves, but Shaft dodging is sort of difficult when the Shaft 1 hit KOs you. And the M2 Wasp late unlock is perfectly coincided with the M2 Smoky unlock, making the epic M2 Smoky - Wasp combo available. :)

Guys,LOL,With the new rebalance coming,Wasp m2 will have more protection than hornet m2! (Beside of other parameters like speed etc that surely wasp in worth) :lol:  ^_^

Yeah, that's why I'm scrapping Hornet and getting Wasp M2 on May 1 :D

It's epic with all of my weapons, freeze, firebird and rail. The only downside is it's stabibility, but oh well who cares :P But now my Shaft will have not hull to go with. Oh screw shaft, no one likes it.
